Anyone else get their priority reservation email from Ducati NA today?

This is your official notification that Ducati North America has received the reservation for your new 1199 from your dealer of choice. This reservation will be prioritized for delivery based on availability.
By working with your dealer in placing this reservation you have taken the first step toward participating in Ducati history as we bring the newest model that combines Performance, Design and Technology into a package unlike any other.
We will be sharing updates over the coming weeks to keep you informed as to arrivals, accessories, apparel and events. If you haven't already spent an enormous amount of time online studying the 1199, we'd like to direct you to the official we bite for the latest information:
 
I wasn't aware manufacturers were doing this. Remins me of the Nissan LEAF rollout lol

I got my email a few hours ago. Im praying for an early march delivery :D

I received mine yesterday and got a call from my dealer said due in April(standard) the S models were the first to arrive. :(

The first model that used the FDO Website Reservation System was the Street Fighter 848.

The Ducati dealers actually have a FDO Reservation Website they have to sign into with username and password and then put all the customers information in that has placed a deposit on a 1199 Panigale.

Ducati is doing this to make it fair to all the dealers instead of lets say one Big dealer saying they have 25 deposits when they really only have 5. The Big Dealer just wants 20 models for the floor first so everyone will have to go to them for a particular new hard to get model.

Your dealer has to place you in the reservation list online through a dealer portal.

I placed about 20 so far. All received email notices instaniously!

I know this is true for the US market.

Well if you have not recieved your email your bike order has not been placed. You are behind hundreds now maybe thousands worldwide.

The FDO Portal opened up 1/10/2012 at 3pm central 21 minutes later at 3:21 pm all D&D Cycles reservations were placed. Be more careful which dealer you place your order through next time. We have been a Authorized Ducati Dealer since the 90's and take great care of our customers. We would be happy to help you out in the future.
