Dealer Refuses to Remove Charcoal Canister . . .

Same issue here, since ive had the canister removed, all is well so far.... My dealer said "We Cant do that and wont do that (Officially) but bring it in and im sure it will disappear" you cant expect them to put in writing that they are breaking the EPA ........ regulations but i know of 2 dealerships that are Pulling these canisters off even before selling them. Take your bike in and tell them to unofficially remove it and that you dont need anything in writing. When mine was removed it was full of fuel. Its a PIECE of ...., get it off now before you blow up your starter..... I would football punt that black box up EPA ... if i could.

My dealer said that they could not remove it, but they would "relocate" it for me. That new location is currently my garage.
