The 1199 hard start issue refers to taking 4 or 5 cranks to get the bike started. 10-15 min, this is totally different, I say take it in.

Needs a reflash. Then have the tech scan it and test everything. Then get it on Ducati's dyno. Mine had a similar issue. Has been gone for now, after being flashed.

But keep in mind, it'll restart fine after 15min. It would happen to mine when shutdown redhot after traffic. Cooling down solved it eventually.

Taking it to dealer tomorrow. Will update you guys on verdict. He agreed 10-15 minutes is way overkill and thinks it may just need a reflash.

Took it to the dealer,

they checked electrical and fuel and everything looks to check out OK. They did a software update on the ECU and thus far seems OK.

So how long have you been fighting this simple fix? Why didn't you want to take it to Ducati?

i noticed it first roughly 6 weeks ago. Considering I ride once every 3-4 weeks, i only personally experienced it a handful of times.

I'm not a fan of dealerships with any of my toys unless it absolutely calls for it.
