anyone have the cardo g9 bluetooth

I have a sena smh10r and the unit is fantastic. Only thing is you can only intercom to 4 riders. the cardo scalia g9 you can do 9 well 4 on 1 channel and 4 on the other plus you.
sena is coming out in a month or 2 with the s20 which will connect to any device via bluetooth intercom. the cardo scala is double the price of sena.

also you have to use the speakers it seems with the scala. no speakers are loud enough if you ride with earplugs. my headphones are custom so they are earplugs and earphones. so if you cant plug in headphones to the scala then its a no go right there

It is an alright system but the speakers are cheap. I have had to replace them 2x now in one year. This time around, I bought some cheap speakers and replaced them on my own.

Other than the physical speaker quality, sound and features are awesome.

i dont use the speakers i use my headphones so if the system doesnt have a headphone jack its out.

Do you really wanna talk to 9 people?? I find 4 is more than enough on a ride (Sena Smh10)

I have the Sena SMH10 and like them a lot.
I have had them about 3 years and they started to give me a little trouble.
Speaker cutting out on left side or right side.
I wanted to get something else and got the Cardo G9 and tried them.
I hated it! After the ease of the jog dial, messing around with those little buttons on top just didn't work for me.
I got rid of the G9s and am still happy to use my SMH 10 with the speaker cutting out from time to time until the new one comes out.
I will upgrade to that one when it does.

hey mark i have the G9 and i have 3 buddies i com with, for the most part i have no complants, i did have to ear piece problem but that was fixed when Scala returned with new ear set. i haven't connected to more than 3 at a time, and can't imagine 9. The sound automatically increases as you speed up, ESPECIALLY with 1199 G9 is all voice activated if you like, but i dont have iphone so i dont use that option.

well you only can talk to 4 people at a time. and 4 on another channel. i was just asking about the cardo . i have the smh10r and i love it.

fyi the s20 is comming out for sena. will be able to connect to any brand. as i stated before if the unit is not able to be used with headphones then i am not interested in it.

whats an ear piece problem? can you use headphones with the g9?

my ear pieces where crackling, i was only one that had complained so i got a hold of the rep in this area, i think is out from PA sent me back basically a brand new scala, minus the main component. No problems. I'm not sure if you can use ear buds. Personally i like having EVEYTHING wireless, i never have to worry about getting anything caught or tangled. thats why i like this system.
