some interview with JLo

Best Ducati rider in the morning, best Ducati rider in the afternoon: Jorge Lorenzo left his team colleague and World Cup leader Andrea Dovizioso behind in both Friday sessions of Aragon and completed the training as second quickest.

Only Honda driver Dani Pedrosa had to beat the Spaniard, who claimed the top position on a wet track with a best time of 1: 59.858 minutes. Lorenzo missed 0.214 seconds.

"It was a pity, especially in the afternoon, because we would have liked to be in the dry," the Ducati pilot regrets the adverse conditions of the MotoGP start in Aragon. "The training of the Moto3 still took place on a dry track. But it just started to rain a few minutes before the start of the training. But you have to live and adapt with that, "says Lorenzo, who defied the weather.

On the Desmosedici, the 30-year-old showed himself repeatedly in wet conditions - to the surprise of some observers. For in the years before he was not necessarily considered a rain god. Lorenzo explains: "It's the motorbike. With the Ducati I felt in the rain from the beginning very good. Last year it was not the case with the combination of Yamaha and Michelin. With this bike I was fast in the wet. "

He showed this on Friday in Aragon also under mixing conditions. Teamkollege Dovizioso had more to fight with. Especially in the second free practice he spent a lot of time on the box instead of on the track. "The amount of water was very low so the tire could not work properly. The temperature was too high and the tire had broken down quickly and had already been destroyed after four rounds, "the Italian describes the problem.

"It was important to take a few laps to understand the grip and especially the set-up of the electronics. That's exactly what we did, "says Dovizioso. With 1.104 seconds behind the best time he finished on Friday eighth place. However, he was satisfied: "We were able to confirm the performance of the morning. There was therefore no need to wind up unnecessarily many rounds under these conditions. "

Dovi was only 8 tenths off of Jlo in FP2. He's cool calm and collected.

Good to see Pedro going well here again -- hopefully he wins and helps mix up the title race even more. Just hoping that Dovi finishes ahead of MM.

I'm not saying I'm predicting it but I won't be surprised to see Marquez DNF here this weekend. I've got a feeling....

Vinales pole
Lorenzo 2nd and VR46 with a broken leg 3rd on the grid.

Go VR46

Did make me laugh hearing Crutchlow moaning again about his bike and his "cheese-knife" injury. At least he acknowledged that he got beaten by a man with a broken leg. What does it take for him to be anything less than utterly miserable.

Yeah I know but he is quite competitive most of the time, suppose we just have to put up with his idiosyncrasies.

Great ride by MM. Congrats to him on the win. Good to see Pedrosa up there too. And of course Rossi. For a guy who some on here believe he is washed up did pretty good.

Hate to see JLo's lead being taken, but that was for sure to be expected. A shame for Dovi.
Great ride by the washed up old Rossi

We banned Mark and now the forum is dead.

Who's decision was this? He is endless entertainment.

I was wondering where NY Mark was, I thought he was taking a break out chasing ..... or something.

He got banned? What's wrong with some people? Jeez, you didn't have to read his posts. I thought in the west we were supposed to uphold peoples speaking rights and not be like those sorts that like to control.

I'm pretty disappointed with this kind of attitude.

Apparently--I noticed he hasn't posted in over a month so I went looking and his User profile says he's banned.

I agree with you and disagree with the decision.

it's not about that.

we can have a lively discussion on all topics here, no question. assaults, very offensive .... etc. will pass for a while. and even though i hate the term, passive aggressive .... might pass for a while as well.

but we are not stupid and the majority of users on here isn't either.

so the temp ban was to quiet things down, and if the wake is building up, we might have to stop surfing altogether.

OK, I hadn't seen anything that was particularly offensive, although that is in the eye of the beholder. It seemed to me that people just didn't like Mark arguing with them. So if things really got offensive then OK.

I really don't get it though, if people don't like what someone is saying just don't reply, they soon get sick of having no-one to argue with, it isn't rocket surgery.

Cheers

Last words on this: everything just slightly mgp related turned into the same .... and prevented a more active and open discussion, always killed by the same shitshow. Not how it’s supposed to be
