1199 system sales are as of today 112 units. 4 units were sitting ready to ship, said the heat shields were due in any days. Updates have been made to a few points on the system including a bracket fixing. Performance they ran by me around 10 bikes dyno figures which all told the story they promote. Big class leading gains. My system going on sooooon, oh yeh.
Few performance enhancements to test to find even more power, told them they can test on my baby:D :D:D

I must apologize my earlier posts on this thread, it seems I was wrong criticizing some of the people commenting about the AR system. Seeing the last comments in support of the AR, whoever is doing that now, changed my mind.

Like I said... He is being successful at pushing away potential customers. After the initial charts showing a hp gain that didn't agree with the initial claim, I was still considering this system based on looks and sound and the gain it did provide. Now I don't care if this system adds 35hp, I'm not giving a company represented like this my money.
 
Its a shame... Because if it had all been approached by AR in a positive.. none hyped .. non attacking adult manner I really think the pipe could've provided some people with just what they were looking for... Would make a great case study in Marketing (how not too)

I'm sorry you have even been put in a position where you feel you need to apologise. All genuine members get a free pass...I think we've all said stuff that we later question :)

My replacement pipe is being shipped shortly, and the much anticipated heat shield will be coming with it. Again in the interest of balance its worth noting that AR have been straightforward to deal with and are being responsive to my questions. I feel Part III coming on.....

I am completely blown away at how poorly AR have represented themselves, forget about their product. If this is their idea of customer support, their business model is doomed to fail or forever under achieve.

Rich would do well to hire a customer relations person to handle technical questions with full access to factual materials that can be posted to support their claims. Many opportunities to walk the high road have been wasted with name calling, threats and excuses.

Having a product to sell places the onus on the seller to demonstrate their product to the satisfaction of the buyer, or they will walk. When I purchase a premium product I EXPECT premium service, not a premium BAD ATTITUDE. Attempts to marginalize our members experiences and knowledge because they do not parallel the vendors shows how out of touch he is with his customer base or with alternative opinions.

The definition of insanity is continuing to do the same thing over and over, and then expecting different results. I think the pattern has become crystal clear, if not a little disturbing.

Exactly the response that has made these threads so ..... All you few are capable of is twisting the truth in an attempt to crush the austin system. You can't handle it thrown back at ya. My name is Burnsy, I don't work for austin and I post freely. I chose to attack you lot of my own free will coz I have first hand experience with austin product and you clearly don't and seem to have a jealous driven hatred. Sad bunch of mothers.....
 
Stw as you are not putting forward anything to substantiate what you said about an austin part failing this should clarify it for you.
With splitlath they tested new product on the bike of a South African rider, that rider had a real .... of a mechanic also South African. I recal a new type of carbon outlet cone tested on his bike, as I remember it took 2 or 3 cones to get the thing to stand up to the gas temperature. The mechanic threw his toys out the pram and went off bad mouthing austin across a few forums. It was sour grapes at the time after they had both been booted from the team. That was the 1 and only time and that was on a new untested part.

'Burnsy'... What is your point?? You say AR pipes do not fail...Evidence shows otherwise... You refuse to accept that and are just abusive... Just spouting verbal diarrhea adds nothing to any debate or thread...

You continue to attack people on here...just as Rich did.. this just raises the ire of anyone reading your posts and does nothing to further the reputation of this already injured manufacturer...

I really do fail to see what you think you will achieve rehashing this.... If you or anyone else is happy with AR then more power to you and them... AR pipes have a questionable reliability and have been represented very poorly on this and various other forums... and in truth your style of posts fit very well into that history...

Does the childish name calling make you feel better about pretending to be a former racer who isn't connected to AR?
