Who is Redline? Has anyone ever ordered "anything" from them? I followed the link and the Redline exhaust system looks really nice. But, there is no info re horsepower and torque curve. At least I didn't see it but that's not saying much. Anyone know the HP and torque for the Redline system? I'd like to compare the Redline HP and torque curve to the full Akro system I currently have on my 2015 1299S. Thanks.

So question... this is the first time I heard of Redline moto exhaust and I tried to do some google search on them but couldn't find a lot of info about them. Redline has a good price for the full system at $2800 AUD compared to the AR RS22 $3499 Euro and the Akrapovic $3650 USD.

1. How is their build compared to AR or Akrapovic?
2. How is their sound compared to AR or Akra?
3. why do they cost so much lower would it be because of branding?

Excuse me for the 20/20 questions but I just love to keep myself educated on this kind of stuff and thanks in advance for answering me

Cheers~

The underbelly inconel AR exhaust for the Panigale is trash. ...... quality and very overpriced for what you get. There have been enough problems with this exhaust in the past which is why no one runs this garbage on their Panigales. You cant put out a trash product and price it similar to better made exhausts and hope that it sells just because of the obnoxiously loud sound. A handful may buy it but you will see the brand on other bikes more than you will on a Ducati.
I can say same thing about my Terrmigioni mounting bracket broke off.

So many SL FE Akra knock offs now. Im all for it though because i do love the look but im not sure about this set.

You shouldnt, i come from R1's and never got any exhaust smell. You might get the occasional whiff if youre idling and the wind blows in the perfect spot but other than that it was never an issue

When I switched the pipes, which deleted the cats, on my Speed Triple all my clothing smelled like exhaust.

Will some message me on how to post pictures on here so you don't have to open it up first format size correct photo editor. I would really appreciate the help so I can post pictures when I get this installed in my hot Florida Garage. Please help me

I use imgur.com for my images. It's easy and straight forward. Just get the link from the photo site and post up like Phl said.

I contacted them today. So waiting for their reply but, from what I see on other forms their relativity new company. Their product looks quite promising tho. Full TI exhaust for 2800 is quite a bargain. I'm planning to order from them if I like their reply

I don't think the Redline is $2800 AUD, is it? Thought it was USD?

I still haven't put an Akra on my bike for one simple reason.. overpriced. Very nice looking and perform well, but the cost of some titanium and bent pipes at nearly 5k for a full system is just too much. They charge a premium, because the market seems to bear it due to lack of other options. Don't be fooled into thinking their build quality is far superior. It's decent, but not the greatest. I've personally held 3 different broken Akra header pipes in my hand. They are good, but not the holy grail.

I'm personally just looking for another option at a respectable price (2-3k is somewhat reasonable, but still up there). The problem is the massive void that is left behind if you go to any other style exhaust. It makes this beautiful look like ..... So that part needs to designed in as well, which adds additional cost, unfortunately.

My mistake the 2800 is in USD. As for the styal that redline-moto and AR has build, I actually don't mind it. However, of course the original bottom cans that the akrapovic has is a cleaner look. I guess it really depends on people. Its really down to quality and performance with sound and *bling* factor being a additional bonus. Akrapovic is a big brand and has already made a name for itself in the moto world. Yet, we have to admit some of the new comers to the after market exhaust world is doing a really good job making good product. I am actually considering giving Redline moto a chance. Great service too!

Have you actually tried emailing them or calling them? I have sent them a couple of emails and they responded pretty quickly. As you may or may not be aware, they seem to be a fairly new company on the scene, judging by a lack of market presence and likely run by a couple of enthusiasts who track their own bikes and are using these as developmental test beds for their work. I like this approach, as by their own admission they are on incarnation 7 of the original design and have steadily improved on it each time, slowly perfecting the layout. I also like the fact it comes with both wide and narrow band Lambda sensor bungs, which is bonus if you run an RB Module on your 11/1299. Several professional welders on the UK forum have also commented on the quality of the work. Worth noting is that possibly as a small company, they have much fewer overheads, so as time consuming as it may be to produce these systems, without the automation of a larger company, they can offer them at a much keener price. They actually list the system for $3500 but are offering it at $2800 for early adopters. I'm on the fence with this one, to the point where I am actually considering ditching the full Akra system, but my only concern is the design of the belly pan which I am waiting to hear back from them about, with a view to changing it's profile to better match the lines of the lower fairing (less bulbous shape). At the moment it's more race than road oriented, presumably to comply with oil containment regs, in the event of a leak.

BTW If you want to see more images of the system, then check out the UK forum thread on it I started (link below). Why oh why is the image uploading engine on this forum so bad by comparison. Admin, where are we at with this issue?

i have addressed it several times with the admin, but he's the one in control. i am waiting here as well.

..the ar exhaust looks like it came from the bmw engineering dept....designed using the corner of a brick dipped in ink, then bolted on "cause it can" :)

Hey topolino I actually asked them about the underbelly and some more additional information. Check it out maybe it can help answer some questions.

PS: If the questions seem kinda stupid please ignore =) we are all students after all

MY QUESTIONS:

1. For your price 2800 would it be in USD? Also, what about shipping?
On your website, it says the product is Full titanium from headers to cans. I was wondering tho what kind of titanium do you guys use? (this question is more interest level)

2. what does your package include? Headers, Cans, Bolts, UnderBelly pan, Read Exhaust heat shield, etc etc etc..

3. After I buy the exhaust is there any additional tuning I need to do for my bike? Re-map etc etc etc

4. If I pre-order how long would I have to wait to receive my product? (It says November on the website, but would that include the carbon Belly Pan?)

5. I'm planning to track this beast exhaust. What is the DP level on the thing?

6. And do they come with options silencers for us to put on and take off?

7. Hopefully, you can have the Dyno info for us real soon!

ANSWERS:

1. Shipping is done via the site when you buy within the US. It really isn't that expensive as the entire package weighs about 13 lbs, exhaust is 10lbs"¦rest is cardboard and foam.

2. We use a Grade 1, Annealed Titanium.

3. Contains everything to mount and use the exhaust. However, the belly pan is NOT included. We are finalizing it.

4. We are recommending a Rapid Bike tuning module. This utilizes the narrow band and wide band sensors. Thus, the reason the RedLine System is the ONLY systems designed to accommodate both bung styles. NOW, you do not have to use the Rapid Bike, you can simply upmap.
a. We recommend jumping over to a high flow K&N filter as well. If you get the stuff out fast, get it in fast too.

5. Should be shipping early November. The belly pans should be the same time too. We are really excited about making the FIRST race belly pan too.

6. Regarding the decibel rating"¦.we don't have one. It is deeper, it is louder"¦but it is not louder than an R6 at WOT.

Other fun facts:
A. We have tracked the crap out of this system. It was designed for the track. Our stock systems were melting plastic and cooking oil.
B. This system dissipates so much heat, you can literally put your hand on the header five minutes after riding.
C. We will be making the V4 exhaust as well"¦

Hopefully, this will help you guys as much as it did for me. Furthermore, as u said before they are a new and small company, but they seem enthusiastic about and their quality lookes good. This will be my next order up~

Our build quality as you can see, surpasses Akrapovic and AR. We use high quality titanium that has been argon purged.
Our system sounds identical to the Akrapovic SL system
Our cost is lower because we are trying to make a name for ourselves, while providing a high quality system that doesn't break the bank.

This is our first product which is why we have been working on so many prototypes. The company was founded by Ducati racers, and we are currently discussing distribution with multiple Ducati dealers and Sportbike track Gear

Can you share any pics or videos?

Built with performance in mind? But we have no bhp figures........ So you can post dyno vids, but you're not willing to show us the results?

Designed by top engineers and ex racers but no DB level, and again no bhp figures?

"gives your Panigale a deep angry Ducati sound, almost like a tiger, lion, and bear combined" and "Plus, the look it produces is a chick magnet". Who you trying to sell this to? 10 year olds?

Forgive me if I just wait a while..........
