As harsh as you sound I do agree with you. Yet, from what we see on the market today Redline still has my money. Akrapovic would prob cost a crap load Austin Racing well not a huge fan. SC i heard nth from them yet and I hate the look of the Terms... Am i missing anything else?
Well I have at least managed to get them to respond on the UK forum Shin. Take a look at their last two posts. They do it seems take notice of what the consumer has to say. I might also add that I am very encouraged to see thay they are considering a more streamlined bellypan as an option

Incidentally, Redline, since you are reading this. Please also take a look at the PS images I posted up of the bellypans on the UK linked thread below and also the image of the AR carbon bellypan posted earlier in this US thread, for some basic ideas/guidance of what would be desirable in terms of shape/profile.

We have looked at those edited photos and will be posting our own designs within the week, so stayed tuned for updates.

OK paperwork I can accept you might not have or at least a screen shot of the dyno monitors but you must KNOW what the baseline figures were if you were there surely? Even if you were to quote a figure now, you've only to back it up with a chart or two once you receive them or get another dyno session organized. Again dont wish to appear rude but I am sensing a reluctance to be candid about your product. I for one really like what you have done but any reticance to be forthcoming, open and outright, sends up red flags for many people when being asked to part with almost $3000, especially as you are a new to market company and forgive me, an unkown quantity.

We do have a couple of appointments setup for this week to get some runs in, before we throw any numbers out there we want to make sure we are consistent, we will be working with a shop that knows rapid bike and will help us put a bow on our tune.

That said, can you also add your input to the UK forum thread as well please. Noting that the UK trackday limits are on average 92db static and 102db ride by, if your system is as you say 107db, you are going to have to supply Db killers, as for trackday riders, without them it's a non starter. Also when are you going to be able to provide dyno figures? If this is a business marketing a potentially very viable product, why is this not being prioritized? It doesn't not take that long to organize a dyno session. Or maybe two different ones to get a more balanced appraisal. I don't wish to sound harsh but the time frame between someone either here or on the UK forum posing a valid question or concern and receiving an answer, is not being addressed in what most would conceive to be a timely manner. It gives the impression that Redline Moto is being run as a secondary priority. The natural conclusion being: Is RM run as an aside to a full time job/commitment by handful of individuals or is this a full on 24/7 project/company with commited staff keen to make a name for itself? A distinction between the two would help people understand where you are coming from. Ie enthusiasts running a business in their spare time or a full time commitment sole business run with dedicated staff. Again don't take this as criticism, more a need for some insight into where you guys are at in terms of involvement with the company and along what lines it's run, as laid out above.

At this point in the company we have a mix of both committed members and members who have other obligations. Being a new company that is just starting to make sales, it is a large risk to fully move over. We will however pick up the slack with our response times and we do apologize if we have disappointed anyone.

Hey Redline, you haven't disappointed anyone yet. Everyone seems to be rooting you guys on just as customers there are answers we want. For $2800 although not expensive compare to other exhaust company like AR and Akrapovic is still quite investment. Also, because your such a new company there is a lot for you to prove. However, as I said before your still the product I would buy when your bellypan are ready. So the best thing you can do now is not disappoint us with crappy dyno numbers and follow it up with a good sounding exhaust and good DB killers

Good luck!

Quite the opposite. I can only commend you for being honest with us. One thing though, as Mutt1979 suggested, you might want to rethink the wording on your website, as it does not necessarily read professionally. I think you know the section he was referring to!

This one?

"Each of our systems are made solely out of Japanese titanium, the same stuff to make a sword"

That is completely relevant?........ If maybe we still lived in medieval times? Keeping your Panigale in a castle hewn from rock and stone?!

I've already suggested they make the necessary changes to their wording. They have announced they will be carrying out proper Db tests and will also supply a redesigned street version of the bellypan, as well as Db killers. Dyno figures they have said will come out at the end of the month. They are at least responding to our questions/suggestions which is encouraging. I'll be keen to see what the initial buyer's system looks like when fitted. Still undecided but if they can address all the issues, it is a tempting proposition. The only downside I can see beyond that is the additional cost of shipping, duty and import/handling charges.

How is the heat under the tail with either the AR system or the Redline system? I put a carbon piece to replace the plastic one I had that covered the part of the exhaust under the seat. Is it equal , better or worse than the stock. I see that the carbon piece I had under my seat over the exhaust wont fit with either the AR or Redline

Rich at AR dug his own grave here many years ago. It was very comical to witness how those threads barreled out of control. Vendor member arguments and trash talking. We've had members spend thousands of dollars for product which underperformed and suffered from quality defects. Some members having to be without a bike for extended periods of time while waiting for replacement parts. It was all a mess.

Based on the history here, anyone buying an AR exhaust for their Panigale would be foolish.

Compared to the stock exhaust, how much heat does the rider feel?

I just Installed my Redline System on my 1199r, and with the heat shield I felt no difference in heat on the seat than on a stock bike. Install was easy enough and it looks pretty sweet, will be posting pics later.
