Thank you for proving my point. You don't get a replacement part until they got the old one. In your case (and mine) you had to make two trips and wait for the new part to get to the dealer. Ducati didn't drop ship a new warranty part to your house and say, send us the old one if you feel like it.
Sorry didn't mean to get of track, but i'm back and in full ignore more lol.
A dealer isn't Ducati you brain dead ....... They are an independent business that is licensed to sell and service Ducatis, hell of a difference. The part doesn't need to be shipped to Italy while your bike is sitting there incapable of being used for weeks.
