I'm not Rich, you are - remember?
Something me and my exhaust thread buddies ought to try.... Its easy I say... Just post answers/responses to posts you want to...leaving posts that incite members and bash products (as we have a habit of doing) is not too cool.... Act classy and we may garner respect....
The monkey in Fronty's thread??
No wonder the little bugger is trying to speed off!
After road testing for 5000 miles we have still not had any parts fail. That said, the bike is trying to shake itself apart, for this reason all future systems have a few modifications to ensure longevity.
As previously stated any owners that want or require the updates please return the part and we will be happy to modify.
It is possible the install can play a part in causing a bracket failure. It is very important the system sits freely unstressed with clearances as per the instructions.
The post above was why things kicked off again because AR appears to be disclaiming the fault was with the product. Instead of disclaiming the issue there should have been a full acknowledgement and explanation at the beginning of this thread:
- acknowledge & describe the issue in detail
- provide an explanation for the issue, including detail around fabrication
- explain what has been done to remedy it
- explain returns policy for owners clearly, and apologise for inconvenience
- reiterate importance of correct installation, asking existing owners to check theirs
- as an aside describe QA and testing process
Had this happened there would have been a much more sympathetic reaction and AR's customer service, which is actually fine, would have been enhanced.
It's never fun admitting that your product or service was at fault but its much, much better to acknowledge openly and make good quickly and demonstrate great customer service in fixing the issue.
My replacement part has landed in Australia and will be with me shortly.

In case you have not noticed I am no longer a vendor on this forum.
I am purely attempting to give useful and potentially informative information to owners of our exhaust system.
this is obviously a very closed minded group of individuals who continue to reject basically anything or anyone that comes near this forum.
it's quite the shame considering this is already a very niche forum, pertaining to one model of motorcycle, and there is quite little to talk about as it is....one would think new ideas and products would be welcome..... this is how a forum fails. hopefully the collective mind of the forum can overcome, time will tell.

I'm going to start a new thread in an attempt to keep it clean.
Would you do us all a favour and keep an eye on it for all the genuinely interested members that want a decent thread
Thanks in advance.
Strange!
Why not attempt to read a post correctly before commenting?
I clearly stated that in 5000 test miles we have not had a failure and that failures COULD be due to the parts being installed under stress, NOT HAVE but COULD be due to this.
You guys are just out for trouble you don't read posts you simply blurt out without thinking.
We have supplied you a new part and a free heat shield is on route, given you a massive amount of support and advice on mapping and yet your posts are nothing like your private emails to me. Why is this?
Trauma GO AWAY
Higgs Boson
Agreed, but,
Unfortunately we are battling against narrow minded individuals hell bent on causing trouble.
Why do you continue to lie? Other forums you end up telling people you don't agree with to go away. Not going to happen. Here is one of the forums you are banned from:
RSV4 vs R1
Before banning you, the admin there posted this picture against one of your threads, I think appropriate here as well:
