New to the forum. I'm the proud owner of a 2012 Panigale S with full Termi system. Been reading several other forums for quite awhile, but this site seems to have the most knowledge of this bike I've found. I want to say thank you everyone all for all your insight and I've really learned alot. Well enough about that.
Back in 2009, I bought a Hayabusa after seeing the 2nd generation come out. Then I bought my first Ducati in 2010 when the Streetfighter S arrived. That was it for me as I finally found the bike I wanted. I loved the Streetfighter! The Busa just never got ridden anymore. I fell in love with everything Ducati and it just seemed ridiculous having this in the same garage. I really liked this bike when I first got it. The power was endless! But it had no character. I'm in no way an expert sportbike rider, but it's the only type of bike I like. At 44 with three kids, I should know better. I started to read everything I could on the development on the next superbike. When the Panigale finally debut, I had to have it. Traded in both bikes for the Panigale S and have no regrets whatsoever.
This bike is insane with it's power delivery. Had the new map installed a few weeks later. The Panigale makes me a better rider than I actually am. I mostly ride in the north Georgia mountains where there is little to no traffic and where I can unwind this beast. It's like a rockstar entering the building when I ride through these small towns. The looks from everyone is priceless. I'm addicted and love this machine. Hands down it's the best ever!
