What's the ....... point is my opinion.
I do not understand the concept. Just because it can be wrapped in nonfunctional carbon does not mean it should be put on your bike.
Carbon replacement parts? I get that concept. Bolt on cover ups? WTF?
If you're going to treat the thing like a piece of jewelry; then you're really no better than the HD dudes who feel compelled to shroud every bit of their hogs with bolt on chrome.

go for it, shift tech makes quality stuff.
I've got to put something carbon fibre on my bike but haven't found the piece to do it, was thinking of the cf tank guard shifttech makes (I think Lieb makes it)

Shiftech Carbon is superior to most carbon parts that I have seen including Ducati factory carbon.
MUNDMAN I say go for it. I own Shiftech parts and the quality, fit, and finish is top notch.

pretty easy to fit? Does it use the thin sticky tape to attach? I put a cf one on my sf and that's what is used to attach. Not sure on whether to get gloss (special order) or satin.
Got these on Pani. I love it.
