Which break pads do you guys use on track days ?

Does anyone have an opinion or experience about Ferodo C-Pro (FDB2260CPRO)? I was recommended them to run with 320 mm Brembo T-drive rotors.
 
Now that I’m finished with Z04, I’m will try out SBS Duel sintered pads recommend by Jarel Omaha
 
A question on race pads, particularly for the Z04s....

My usage for the V4S is 90% full-tilt track riding and 10% semi-lawful street riding.

If I put on the Z04s, will the bike still be manageable for street use? Will the bite be too hard and make pulling up to a stop sign at 40 mph a bit sketchy? Or is it not too difficult to adjust and cope during occasional street use? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks.

The Ferodo C-Pro BRAKE pad compound is fairly new and supersedes their aging CP-1.
Will guess these need some time to get some data and feedback.

A MotoAmerica team are using them and they had some fade issues starting at VIR. At Road America, they were experiencing fade again as well as rapid pad wear.

C-Pro is a carbon / ceramic pad and below is the Ferodo info release..

Ferodo Racing is pleased to announce the successor to the existing CP1 race compound with the all-new C-Pro.
The result of an extensive development program looking to build on the success with a Carbon/ceramic formulation that exceeds the existing parameters of its predecessor in every category.

In comparison to the CP1, the new C-Pro organic race pads feature:
• Substantially higher peak coefficient of friction for greater overall stopping power
• Higher average coefficient of friction across the entire thermal range
• Much improved wear characteristics translating into longer life
• Higher thermal threshold to resist fade in the harshest conditions
• Stronger, but not overpowering initial bite
• Excellent feel and feedback at the lever
• Brilliant overall performance on both iron and stainless steel rotors


NOTES:
• ALL ORGANIC Race Compounds must be bed-in on clean rotors to perform properly and to their potential. Not doing so will result in poor performance, glazed pads, over-heating, etc. Pls see the section on prepping brake rotors.

• Many Ferodo Race Compounds are thicker than OE pads, it is therefore strongly recommended to flush your brake fluid with fresh. This will not only correctly adjust the fluid level in the reservoir, but start you out with the new pads and optimally fresh brake fluid.

Vesrah... love em. Granted it's track only, but the initial bite isn't that crazy... could work on the street

Agree but I questioned the use of the C-Pro at Road America, as T5 is brutal even on HH sintered brakes, beit with Z04, SBS Dual Sintered, or the alphabet pads from Vesrah.

The odder part was the issues at VIR, so hopefully Ferodo are using the input, data and notes to improve their new C-Pro pads.

+1 on Vesrah SRJL. Quick to warm though definitely not street pad quick, manageable initial bite even for the latte and leather crew, power is in the sexual healing range, and something else in the system will go soft before they fade.

The Ferodo pads I've tried were as crappy as Braketech's iron rotors are awesome.
