I got a box that looked like that from a well known vendor. He asked why it took me over a month to bring it up. I mentioned that I was overseas and it had been sitting at my friend's house waiting for me to get home. He blamed it on my buddy.

Thankfully I used my credit card and the post office added the damaged stickers to the box...we'll see how they respond to my email. This is exactly why I will pay more for a finished "special edition"...with warranty. Dealing with this .... gets old pretty quick.

Wire cover on the swing arm fit perfectly...

BTW, that's a DP upper chain guard to the right. Weave is spot on...

dident know DP has an upper chain guard, whats the part # ?

Carbonworld.de do NOT produce their own parts, they are sourced elsewhere. In the main most of their stuff is good/OK-ish but you can only be sure if you deal direct with the manufacturer. In my experience only CDT or LiebSpeed are worthy of your money, particularly Peter Lieb's stuff which is limited BUT exquisite and in my humble opinion about as good as it gets. Period. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and there is an awful lot of tat on the market. Carbonvani springs to mind as well as Bestem, both of which are of questionable finish and fit. I'd rather spend a month or two extra to save up for the good stuff than buy cheaper crap.

I have been waiting 1 month soon for the Fullsix electronic holders. Im getting pissed off because one of the reason when i placed the order was the "in stock" 5-9 days green button. But maybe they're worth waiting for as Top suggests?
No problems with Carbonworld,i have various bits and its a nice fit & finish.

I second Topolino. Lieb and Fullsix CDT are top. It's really worth the wait.
The electronic compartment pieces are great. Only at one spot (the tip at the front end goes a bit near to the tank) had to be grinded a bit. Otherwise perfect.
Mounting of the left hand side pressure sensors is different, don't try to do it with the OEM screws).

So ....... frustrating...their packing skills pretty much suck. I'd imagine if I ever get the electronics covers that they will arrive in the same condition. The kickstand box looked similar, but it's a pretty stout part so it didn't get damaged.

Hey RetardedTiming.
I see you already installed the CF kickstand. Please be very careful when removing it again. Check thread http://ducati1299.com/mechanical-technical/23241-carbon-fiber-kickstand-installation.html

Same here from CFW. Ordered the electronic covers because they were in stock. That was back on the 4th of November. Still nothing. No tracking history, nada.

I have a mixture of carbon bits on my 1199R CDT, Carbonvani, Carbon Fever, Carbon World and Shift Tech. Everything fits pretty well but most carbon parts will never fit like OEM so I usually fine tune to make fit good. I am installing a Carbonvani V fairing on the bike right now it's the only part that I had to do lots of grinding and fine tuning on to make fit. Will post some pics in a few days.

Not good, hope you get them soon. I know they had some trouble around that time with the site not showing correct stock status.
Lets see who's first to get them on..

The piece with the coolant reservoir, right? I was wondering how much tweaking you'd have to do. I bought the "cover" for the OE plastic piece. But was thinking I'd rather just buy the replacement carbon piece. Looking forward to pics.

Oh dear..... I'm not from the clan, ?... me I hate CF..... both my cars are CF one is grey one is white..... both come from the U.K..... I just can't understand why guys want a carbon look ? With respect it's a material not a finish?.. It's ugly ...yes it's strong but ffs we don't have to prove it to people who don't understand?
My Pani is red and even if I could afford to replicate it in CF I would rather gargle with bees, besides bring on a weekend warrior with his carbon 1299 and me with my base 1299 do you really think your going to be much faster around the local pass?
just saying;)

I choose to replace parts that are black plastic with CF but leave any of the painted pieces alone/as is. I feel this approach gives a nice touch to the finished look of a bike.
