Guys,

i was in and out this weekend, didn't get to install the covers, might be able to do it tomorrow, have to see. Then i am up in Chicago until Thursday, way too busy right now. I keep everyone updated.

Took the bike for a spin though :D

Absolutely agree. Who would have thought that sound has been hidden within the stock cans this whole time.

update:

the "molds" are finished, so now i can place the drill holes perfectly every time for the rivets (for the covers) more to come soon. (i won't say tonight or this weekend any more, too busy)

Sounds ....... AMAZING!!! Wish I could hear it in person. It sounds very loud and VERY evil!! :)

It does sound very nice. I had a chance to hear it in person at Deal's Gap this past Saturday when Phil accelerated out of the parking lot at Crossroads up the hill into the first corner.
Nice full distinctive sound (I'd rate it much better than some of the Panis there that had the standard Termi/S slip-ons). As I told Phil, I'm thinking about getting this done once winter gets here and there's a break in good riding weather for a month or so in Jan/Feb.

Anxious to see pics of final product, Phil.

You have a general estimate as to how long it would take to get 'em back once I ship the exhaust to you?

1-2 weeks, depending on how busy the welder is.

here's an update on the covers (on the slaughterhouse exhaust)
holes drilled in positions determined by the fiberglass covers and riveted afterwards. will be able to tell how well the rivets hold up after the trackday on sunday.

Sending you a PM...

finally, got the other side installed:

some lessons learned here...

also safety wired the screws on top, they tend to come off:

and yes, the covers are black and dirty. these experimental cans with the run down covers are on the track setup with the black fairings.

[FYI] if you send me yours, i promise to be super cautious about them and treat them super carefully.[/FYI]

If I was making macaroni with those 2... I would need 2 paper bags, nice bods, gross face imo

Its called a lightswitch.

And dont act like you would turn either of them down, lol...

But I agree...The one on the right listened to her friends when they said "Dont go too big on them, it wont look right" when she bought her ....s...duh, dumb...The one on the left didnt listen to the cameraman who said "Arch your hips forward, I can see the post pregnancy pouch you cant get rid of."

that's the thing with paid assistants.

i get my mac n cheese rather homemade by the wife ;)

Phil - just saw this as I have been outa the loop (trying to stay that way) - this is really cool, I put this up there with the taillight and turn signal mods, quite a useful accomplishment. :)
