I feel same way 15+ its not a big difference in power I love 13R My friends are always checking there oil paranoid

I have the 16R and I don't have the oil problem... I do have the thermostat slow leak issue but that's an easy fix. I'm removing it from my bike.

What kit are you using to remove the thermostat?

Any advantage with the H2O system over MAC?

I'm just going with H2O that's what the most important Race teams are running plus is made in Italy.
I was reading that the bike will run a lot cooler with the Race Radiator kit which removes the thermostat.

Definitely an upgrade for a trackbike. Not sure if you can run a fan with these for the street.

The difference in the bst weight is mostly near the center of the wheel itself, which makes it easier to rotate and more noticeable than just the numbers itself. Maybe not as obvious compared to the chicken feet but night n day when compared to base wheels.

Sorry made a mistake posting I removed it and I added it to what did you do to your Panigale today.

Happy New Year!!

Closing the deal on the 2016 R in the morning. Bike is on the west coast and I am on the east. I did get to check it out in-person and it is really a powerful work of art.

I’ll need to ship it. Any recommendations? I should probably start another thread for that.

I posted a request for motorcycle shipping company reviews in the Reviews forum.

It's going to have to travel over 2500 miles to get to me - who can I trust to get it here in the same condition I left it in the Northwest?!

Check the paperwork for liability - where it ends and starts. The condition of the bike should be verified before shipping and then again right after shipping - before you sign off. Make sure you have good insurance on the bike when it leaves the dealer and have a discussion with your insurance as to what's covered. Shipping damage probably isn't; shipper has to cover it (I think but check the paperwork - before you sign). Make sure you don't get caught between shipper and dealer over damage incurred somewhere after you last looked/rode it but before it got shipped. This should help you ask the right questions on prospective shippers and help you get a feel for which company you're comfortable with and it may not be the lowest bidder. Ask some of the larger Ducati dealers (those that ship bikes frequently) for their recommendations.

Dealer has two recommendations. Too bad recall isn’t in force now, I’d have it done before shipping.
