Lately I'm more of a session player. So people get me in for specific live or studio work where they need a bassist for what ever reason. I really enjoy the variety of work and styles that this brings. I have my own studio (who doesn't nowadays!) so also spend a lot of time working on my own stuff or doing production work for others.

I work a normal 'day job' though and have for years now so not exclusively 'professional' any more :)
