Mmmhh, easy install of Pegs and Filler Cap, but I'm not sure about the finished result.

Thinking I should have gone for black pegs, or something a bit more petite. I'm a proper tart in this respect.

Thoughts....

And the cap, more happy with this....

Maybe I'll feel a bit more love for them in the morning:rolleyes:

nice mods..I agree that the black pegs might of been a better choice but the silver still looks great. That DP fuel cap is beautiful looking and definitely on my list as well as the dp levers.

Thanks - I get the feeling that my DP Rearsets just cost me 90Euro extra

Got to go with silver....because you changed the pegs only. Black pegs with silver support would look pieced together.
New rearsets would be black IMO.

I'm wrestling with the same thing....pegs only would buy me the hugger, gas cap and the seat whereas entire rearsets would be so much nicer.

Looking at the Gilles units, they are reasonably priced and one gets GP shift with the stock quickshifter

I opted for these rizoma pegs and did them in black. These are a bit more streamlined.

LSL pegs. tons of grip. next to 86ing the stock seat for the race, best mod i have done. black anodizing is going to wear off eventually.

X,

First off I am amazed at the exceptional quality of your photos. What Kodak are you using to get such great optics ?

Your work looks great. The Rizoma B-Pro pegs are far better than the stock, now when you get your DP rearsets and if you fit passenger pegs you can install the B-Pro pegs. The Rizoma B-Pro go well with the DP Pegs.

Since you asked for pics of the fully decked out 1098 S Tricolore, I have attached a few piccies, apologies for the crap quality. After I install the 1199 DP Carbon Fiber sprocket cover I will do a set of quality photos for both the 1199 and 1098.

Similar themes across the 1098 S and 1199 ; DP and Rizoma only. The 1098S actually has the Ducati Corse Rear-sets (for comparison with the 1199), while the Carbon on the 1098 S is the really high quality gloss Ducati Factory.

Yah, I stick with my original choice of silver for pegs only.

Now that may be what would make me more happy, just in silver.

As long as they don't rip my cover ;)

Even upside down, they are just so functional, which is what I like. I agree re black anodizing, which is another reason for silver.

Maybe a good choice if I don't bond with the Rizi's.

No words. Just good solid work Cali. Can't wait for the full exposé shoot :D

On the positive side, it's not like these pegs are a one-way deal. Easy to change them :p

I agree the silver looks good. I put the Rizomo black rearsets but now I am contemplating about powder coating black all the stuff the rearsets attaches to.

Thanks. When you get your DP Rear sets you will see what I mean about how well they match the Rizoma B-Pro pegs.

I have some mods to do to both the 1199 and 1098 before the photo-shoot. Then it's off to get the bikes dyno'ed, balanced and the suspension adjusted.

Short wait for track season at Leguna Seca and then I will have the DDA data from both bikes.

....

What do you use to clean your bike? It looks brand new!

Seriously I'm looking for a product

thx

The pegs look great silver. I think the black would stand out too much. Did you use the spring that came with the OEM pegs? Or are they solid pegs? I want to get pegs that fold using the springs. Thanks
