DP Rearsets - Excessive play

Hello all, I have two sets of the Ducati Performance rearsets and I am quite happy, however, there has always been some excessive play in the shift linkage and wondered if any of you found a way to eliminate this?

On a side note I just saw a preview for Kick ... 2 and finally I know where that pic with the purple 1199 with the girl wearing a purple cape is from!
