Here's the skinny:

In true Ducati fashion, we are meeting at a Starbucks so be sure to wear your full leathers. :)

We'll try to get there around 6 and hang out as late as a bunch of old farts can (I turn into a pumpkin at 9 pm though).

This Starbucks is DIRECTLY on top of the Virginia Square Metro location for anyone seeking a landmark. They had outdoor table area last time I was there in summer too. Lots of street parking available.

I never thought I would take my Duc to a Starbucks! LOL

I will know tonight whether or not I can attend this. I use to very close to it on North Hancock St.

Cool. We were really torn on where to have it, but since the only confirmed people we had were Tyson's, Alex and DC we figured Arlington was smack dab in the middle and hopefully others in the area could make it too. We'll have to do a weekend ride here pretty quick too.

I live in Woodbridge but work in Arlington so it should be easy. I just need to make sure my wife takes her car!

Think we should cross-post this to any other 1199 or other Ducati lists? I know there are a bunch of Monster guys in and around the DC area. Kind of last minute notice though.

Just a thought.
 
Why not? I really don't like any of the other 1199 sites. You can post it up on the Ducati dot MS forum as well. I use to go there when I had my Streetfighter.

It looks (and feels :p) hot and is faster! The Streetfighter and 1199 are meant for different riding styles. Both want to be ridden hard and fast!
 
I pm'ed Duc to make sure he could still make it, but it's looking like a pretty small group. :(
