See, that's what I love about the stock mirrors/shield. The Rizoma you're getting folds, but you have to reposition it each time, no? It is really hard to make out that bike against that colorless wall... :D
 
meetups

are you guys still doing meetups for 1199 owners? weather's getting stable in the DC area...
 
I'm game. You guys want to start throwing out dates? The location last time worked well and is Ducati friendly since it is a Starbucks. :)
 
I'm just waiting on my custom cleared carbon front fender and can then finally run the engine on the bike! Lol
 
Last one was a weeknight which is tough for some. I'm away on 15th though.
We talking same place in Arlington Capt CF?
 
The 15th works for me as does the 22nd. On a weekend we'd have more time and not have to deal with traffic, etc. like we did last time, but I'm up for either. I know some people have commitments on the weekends that make a weekend tougher to schedule.
 
I'm down to meet up as well and or go on trips on the bike. I like to travel places on the weekends that I'm off. Kinda new to the area.
 
I got a PM from a guy in WVA that is picking up an 1199 this week. He wants to meet up too so maybe we should shoot for a weekend to give people that aren't right in the DC metro area a chance to come down/up/over as well?

I just want to keep the scheduling ball rolling since we're still in prime riding weather. :)

Anybody want to throw something on the schedule for the 15th?
 
Good initiative CF. I'm out for 15th and still waiting on my custom fender anyway. How stupid would that look riding up with no front fender! Lol
 
I am out for the next few weekends. I am also heading down to the Dragon during the week of July 22-28.
 
So when do you guys actually ride (make a day of it) ? We should try and get someting going here.Weekends ahead
