… As far as the bike goes, Ducati has turned these collectible “special editions” into “Beanie Babies” for grown men.

Man, if your 1299FE is a POS parts bin bike along with the POS V4 SP parts bin bike along with the V4 Foggy 916 POS parts bin bike I'm going to be in good company with my future POS V2 Bayliss parts bin bike! I'm so excited. We should call our group the "PBBBC" (Parts Bin Beanies Bike Club) Ducabike clear clutch cover is mandatory to join.I think the bike is badda$$ looking and would rock one myself and deff have her on the track once in a while as i do with my FE (I guess the FE is also a POS parts bin bike too )

Finally it's released! I've been waiting and waiting for a special edition to come out right from the original V2 release.Looks gorgeous. Not going to be able to sleep tonight!Going to have to sell my current panigale to help fund it.
Exactly. Big business in “knock offs”. This bike unfortunately solidifies the direction of the brand. The 1299SL was the pinnacle of Ducati’s “brand”. All the special pieces were made for that bike right down to a limited specific SL motor. The V4SL started the downward departure (borrowed wheels, forks, brake bits, and a shared, stock V4R motor for more money. The SP sunk further into the parts bin and gimmick bucket.I rest my case
Ducati themselves stated a few yeas ago that they would like to explore the active suspension route in MotoGP, as done correctly, it would improve the bike tremendously. But the budget wasn’t there for it (too expensive). Please keep in mind that all teams who currently have ride height and anti-squatting devices are using electronic suspension control. Unless banned by MotoGP, like F1 and WSBK, full active electronic suspensions will make it’s way into MotoGP.yes expensive and competing in MOTOGP don't coincide, saving a few grand is always in the best interest to winning world titles. Hands down the suspension under the bikes is far superior to anything you will ever see in a electronically controlled set up. Thus anything electric is inferior to what is offered on the market for traditional suspension... especially when talking about retail bikes.
They should have just continued to build the 1299 if they were serious about offering a twin in the lineup. The current V2 platform is like buying a 2 series BMW.
