Yup, then he went to talk with his buddy about it, good times. I asked him how the conversation was going and Kev said something about getting weight loss tips?

DWC is more for power wheelies than double clutching. Any of the electronic aids are not going to overcome physics.
I'm not so sure. The description for the highest DWC level says...Can dwc be trusted to limit a power wheelie and prevent it from looping? I ride the rear brake as a precaution, but maybe there’s no need?![]()
I use DWC at setting 1 on my V2 and power wheelie to 10 o'clock all the time. Electronics are excellent and predictable, although I do cover the rear brake. You can't clutch up a wheelie with any rider aids on, but power wheelie all you want. At the track, I use higher settings to avoid frowned upon hooligans moves.
The newer electronics in the US 2021 V2 won't allow this. If you try to clutch up a wheelie with DWC on any level, it will get you up to about 1 foot and then slam you down very hard. It is quite unpleasant. I have sport mode set to DWC and TC off so I can clutch wheelies. Race mode has DWC on 2 for the track. But yes, DWC on the 2021 V2 (and probably any other Panigale with those electronics) allows for full-throttle power wheelies that stop nicely at 10 o'clock every single time and then float down nicely. Heck, I float a low one out of hot pits at the track when getting up to speed for entering near turn one without covering the rear brake. Predictable.I can clutch up with DWC on 1
what bike do you have?Anyone tried other settings for antiwheelie control? Like 2 or 3? I need some settings which doesnt allow more than 3-4 feets from ground of thats possible
Understand. Thought that dwc works in different way . I have v4 panigale. Thanks for detailed postwhat bike do you have?
assuming a superbike from 2012-2020 (years i'm familiar with), you need to learn to control them without DWC. DWC will not be repeatable everytime, it is very much dependent on road conditions and angle up/down of the road. On track, on the race line, you'll get pretty predictable results as the road is unchanging. I put DWC at 2 or 3 for track riding and OFF for street.
I'm very much a big wheelie guy, its kinda my jam homie.
DWC does not control height in a repeatable and predictable way on the street. It will limit how quickly the front end comes up though, that is the key point to understand...no limit on height, will limit the speed it pops up...get it?
on street with so many variables, depending on DWC to keep you safe, AND trying to ride wheelies is a recipe for disaster.
Power up in 1st or 2nd gear (assuming you have a superbike), then shift right before or AT balance point, repeat until your at top of 4th gear.
OR
Stand up on pegs around 50mph in 2nd, bounce downwards, lock your knees, and pull bike to balance point (your standing with knee's locked), and using your elbow as the pivot point to keep the bike at balance point, and maintaining throttle constant...the variable will be your elbow pushing and pulling as needed. You can ride a wheelie for as long as you want this way...although I limit it to 30-45seconds max....thats a long time up on one wheel buddy.
Also, i spent years...and years....maybe 10 or so learning and perfecting wheelies...and i started on a 600cc CBR...then liter bikes....I took my time, practiced away from traffic way out in the country...and have never had an issue....by the time i was in San Diego in the Navy...i was ridding standup wheelies across the coranado bay bridge! Ive calmed down a lot in my later years....and these ducati superbikes are not the easiest to do them on...and def harder to learn on.
good luck, stay safe
