Is there anything I need to do to the 1299 before dyno tuning? Disable sensors/systems?

i'd also take the upper right side fairing off, that will expose a spark plug wire, this will allow rpm pickup.

air injection?

With the 1199 it was unplug the rear wheel speed sensor, stick it in race mode, 195hi, turn off all the electronic aids (inc DWC for 1299).

Are you tuning with Tuneboy? Pretty sure it automatically disables the secondary air injectors. When plugging Tuneboy for the 1299 Wayne posted 'TuneBoy map file closes the secondary air injection so that tuners don't need to block off the SAI.'

I've ordered tuneboy, yes :) Exactly the answer I was looking for! Thanks! :D

Maybe a stupid tip but make sure that you put a cloth around your front rim before the strap it down at the Dyno. I have seen them scratch expensive or painted rims with those straps..:mad:

Another stupid question; is somebody already able to reset service indicator with a tunboy on a 1299?

Yes, you can reset the service indicator yourself with Tuneboy.

Are you 100% sure on a 1299S?

Cause all I read is on a 1199 its no problem but on the 1299 it doesn't seem to work.. Which type tuneboy are you referring to?

Dealer did the 621 mile reset on mine so I've not tried it but pretty sure the option is still there, AFAIK it's been available on all versions of Tuneboy & haven't heard of anyone having problems. No idea why Wayne wouldn't write it into the 1299 software but if you're unsure send them an email.

Your dealer uses a tuneboy? Would he not be using the DDA?
