I've been using this one now and it works really well to get rid of the "bottom end" frequencies...

PA, you are my hero! LOL

it's the frequency of noise that they block that seems to be the defining factor - I used a similar plug last week that higher rated (32db) and was pretty ineffective but it was a 'snore blocker', whereas the ones I bought that were 27db were industrial so perhaps they are designed to block differe t frequencies.

I've been riding with Ear Peace's for over a year and they are amazing! Full akra's and agv helmet was beyond loud but these babies saved my hearing.

I've been using the earpeace motor sports plugs for a year or so as well. They are very comfortable, make a reliable seal and have three inserts for different sound attenuation. I've had custom plugs made but they were never comfortable. By far the best earplugs I've had and they are pretty inexpensive.

These work great for me. I'm sure a lot depends on your ears and the helmet in terms of fit and comfort. I did not use the wire because it has a metal part that pressed against my ear when helmet was worn. Instead I used the tab. The other great thing is the case can be put on as a key chain so I never lose the earplugs.

I've read a lot about this brand but haven't tried any of their product yet. I'm looking into EarPeace motorcycle earplugs to try this year.

I use those and I can personally attest that they're quite good. I can't compare them to much but I have a whole briefcase of the foam ear plugs I grab from various team garages at F1 races that I used regularly and I would say they're comparable to those. The EarPeace ones are better in that you can hear your comm system better without giving up thee remainder of your overall hearing protection.

I got Eargasms. Works as I thought they would. I can adjust them just right to either be full tight and block off complete surrounding (minus the very slight leftover sound from the Akra slip on), or have them partially in to where I can hear the surrounding ok and hear the exhaust at about 50% as well. Along those lines... Not a bad purchase for $35.

I use the Howard Leight. They seem to work well and are pretty comfortable. Have worn them for hours and not an issue.

Has anyone tried the Eargasm earplugs? I haven’t been able to find a proper motorcycle review for them. At least for anything but a trailer(Harley.)

Read above.

Cool! Getting myself one soon. Thanks!

Can you wear them for hours and your ears don’t hurt, nor does your hearing feel like there’s been something there assaulting it?

I have had them in for hours, yes. I like it. I always pull them out when I stop and take a break. Otherwise I can feel/hear the my own footsteps (that vacuum feel) and to just give my ears a break.

ANYTHING is better than having nothing in there, exhaust tone wise. One time I had a good day of riding and my ears were ringing after. So, no more.

Are you pertaining to Eargasm High Fidelity Earplugs?

Hi,

I got these kind of custom made ear plugs:

However, after a long ride, I still got a beep in my ears for a few hours up till a day.
Is this because these is still a small open canal inside these plugs?

Would these be the only solution?

When I watch Moto GP, I see they use these old school ear plugs too and not custom ones.
What is your experience and tips which are best?
