If you later put the Termi on and upload the map then it overrides the flash.
At that time you can get yet again a better map for your bike from Redline, at no cost since it's the same bike/same ECU, they are coded so they can tell
Redline is a Ducati dealer, he can answer your warranty question.
Nothing needs to be done to the bike when you flash the ECU, it's all plug and haul ass.
