Engine heat burning thighs

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

I have been ridding bikes for over 15 years so I'm well aware of the risks I take every time I get on my bikes.

I'm not playing billy balls at all... I do appreciate a suggestion but We are pass that point when some people start posting smartass repetitive comments.

it's just funny how some of you are hypocrites, and full of .....

I can assure you I'm not the only person ridding in shorts in this forum. I'm an adult and I have been ridding for over 15 years. I can decide how much risk I'm willing to take when I ride my bike

I will keep ridding in short when I take my bike to the gym or running errands near my house...

I'm from Miami in FL you don't even need a helmet as long as you wear eye protection, it's safe? No but who cares??? It's up to the individual to decide how much risk they are willing to take when they ride a bike

Some might called you names for taken the risk of ridding a bike

At least shave your legs for Christ sake.:D

So hot it's burning holes in LeoV4's socks. [emoji3]

No... I spent all my money on the Akrapovic exhaust so no money for new socks [emoji23]

Also please invest in a dictionary or spell check thanks...

I guess you are too dumb to realize English is not my first language...

I'm smart enough to make mistakes in multiple languages but wtf do you know about that [emoji6]

This is a REAL suggestion

you probably already know what the after effects of road rash are.. once I found out I got myself a full suit and gloves and have never ridden without them ever since.

shoes with lace..hate for your lace to get caught on the peg.. too pretty a bike to drop at zero speed.

please take my comments with the good intent they come with.

be safe fellow duck fan

The rest of the comments are nothing but a bunch of Bullies acting like idiots.

:D made me laugh when I saw the holey sock because I'm cheap like that too and my wife can't understand it. Maybe not cheap... I mean it's doing 98% of its job so why retire it?

Hahaha These are my lucky socks, I wear them when I'm ridding my bike without my full gear so I don't crash [emoji53]

Nope, and we are about 25 threads in on the same topic. Surely there is a support group now for the many sufferers...

Yes and there is also abused thighs hotline,
call 1-800- hot thighs

Yes but then you have razor burn on top of pani burn, now we’re going the other way. Now shave the legs and ceramic coat the inner thighs, BOOM, everyone is happy

Yes, I had this same issue. On my first few rides, my V4S was unbearable in days over 85F degrees. I remember rushing home in stop n' go traffic because my thighs were getting scorched in pain. Thankfully Ducati Spacers came out with their new V4 heat shield kit, was like a half a day job for me to install (they say it was like half an hour for experienced). Thank god for the heat shield kit, I can ride basically any temperature with no issue.
Ever since I installed it, no complaints, made my Ducati experience 10x better.

We continue to go the other way on this unfortunately. The clowns that invented the throttle spacers and the so called heat shield were bonkers for brains from the get go. The newbies buying these V4's don't actually know where the heat comes from so that's where we are folks.
