Exhaust popping/backfire

Is anyone getting a popping noise or a minor backfire while accelerating through the gears? I'm experiencing this and I wasn't sure if this was common with others.
 
You'll get a pop on up shifts when using the quickshifter. I didn't really notice it until I swapped with my dad on his speed triple. With or without the clutch it popped on every shift where it cut the ignition.

You're hearing the air cutting out the engine for a split second while it upshifts, its normal when using the quickshifter.
 
its the best part of quick shift love it bigger the POP the better :D
short shift under load is best
 
love this sound!!! also when coming down the gears on the overrun the backfire you get is a lovely sound
 
Have to agree. I love that sound. It's almost like I look forward to it when quickshifting.
 
It's one of the reasons I bought the bike.
I'd be more concerned if it didn't pop and bang.
The DQS is my favourite toy at the minute.

Every time I get a pop I a big grin follows. The bigger the bang the bigger the grin ;)
 
I have been getting it too, not that I have a quick shifter on it.......I completely love hearing that sound come out of this bike, makes me think I'm at a Moto GP race and they are all trying to caught me.........LOL.

Popping exhaust on tickover...

I'm still running mine in but it does pop, futt irregularly from the exhausts on tickover when warm... feels like a backfire, Does this sound familiar to anyone?

With Termi full system on, Swift with DQS on, POP most of time at 8K... Lovely sound!
