For Sale Feeler- WSBK style headers for termignoni

ok, IIRC from the AR threads, inconel is just a little bit more fancy:

Inconel alloys are oxidation and corrosion resistant materials well suited for service in extreme environments subjected to pressure and heat. When heated, Inconel forms a thick, stable, passivating oxide layer protecting the surface from further attack. Inconel retains strength over a wide temperature range, attractive for high temperature applications where aluminum and steel would succumb to creep as a result of thermally induced crystal vacancies. Inconel’s high temperature strength is developed by solid solution strengthening or precipitation strengthening, depending on the alloy. In age hardening or precipitation strengthening varieties, small amounts of niobium combine with nickel to form the intermetallic compound Ni3Nb or gamma prime (γ’). Gamma prime forms small cubic crystals that inhibit slip and creep effectively at elevated temperatures.

currently getting figured out.

under 2 will probably be possible over 20 , but i doubt there's the market. I guess a little above 2 grand right now, depending on how customs see it ;) and how many can be shipped over here at once.

Shouldn't the WSBK headers really be matched with the WSBK cans to have a advantage ?

Good point, but I think those are just offered as a different style option for what is available for most of the customers , Who have the regular termi slip ons and not the WSBK. His dyno sheet is most likely with the regular slip ons...

I don't know how easy they are to acquire (WSBK) and how much they cost and how big the advantage really is.

The wsbk 2014 system is £4500 for the pipework only(Even more if want it in titanium) and £6500 including the wsbk silencers.

I have been offered one for ALOT less, but in my opinion, even for the price I have been offered on a new 2014 system its still WAY to expensive and would prefer the more road based AKRO system, which can get for around £2600- £2800GBP from eu.

yep.

hence i'm checking the interest here, i fully understand that the majority is leaning towards akra though.

Phl,
I was talking about the Hugely expensive ducati corse Kit system V the Akro price.
The system you are offering IS A much better option V the Original Kit Corse system its based on. ;)

Inconel does not radiate heat anywhere as much as other systems
(Used in F1), which means less heat for the rider and the bike :)

can you throw up a link to this so we can read about it. I'm getting a little confused reading it here.

I'd like to know the difference between the WSBK silencers and the ones that came with my R. Also isn't this a little useless without the racing Up map, or a dyno?

Thanks.

I think I've checked this thread at least 10 times in the past 24hrs. To give you an idea of how in I am.

stay cool.

with the information i have (not so much i can provide) and the response here, i see it unlikely to happen.

will post up here if i get any news.

Tig welder and pipe it is. Do you know if they use different flanges or the stock flange with just different flowing pipe?

As far as I can tell the authentic ones use the standard flange. The pipe necks down slightly at the flange. I would do a side but side but it'll be a cold day in hell before I go through that again.
