What extra bits did it come with besides the windshield?

Besides the manuals, Mirror block-offs and Li-Ion charger for the battery.

I purchased some extra Ducati accessories as at the same time such as the DP rear-sets, DP tail tidy, and rear stand as seen in the picture.
 
I'm picking up #166 in Florida this week. Dealer is saying it's the only one in the Southeastern US at the moment. He also mentioned Ducati changed their mind and will be limiting production. Only 200 coming to the US. Anyone know if thats true?

sounds like the sealer is trying to get you for more $$$. Ducati has no reason to only bring 200 to the states. They will keeping selling until I would say middle of next year. Then try to push the V4 more but that's just my thinking.

^^^^^^^ Can we all due a group buy with Mick for some carbon Fiber tail Tidy's. My checkbook is ALOT lighter, but it NEEDS to loose the rear Lic plate assy. What a mess that is.

Kevin and everybody else that posted pictures of this bike congrats on your purchases. Kevin the picture at night near the truck spectacular.
Here is my question that somebody may know. The canister that u see where the normal bike would have the mufflers is the CAT I assume. I have a buddy that purchased a 2017 BMW and the cat is huge. Buying slips does nothing since the cat is welded and can't be taken off if u buy a slip on. This cones from a euro law. So my question is are slips done and what is Ducati plan in the future with this environmental BS

I’d post pics, but I’m new to the site and can’t figure out how to do it.

Couple bits of info. My dealer just got back from Italy. He said that they have stopped taking orders and that the production run is likely going to be stopped at 900. Don’t know how reliable his info is.

And yes, the Cat is welded in place...a full exhaust will be needed to get rid of the cat, and the wimpy Euro 4 sound (you should hear the TST/Toce exhaust on my 1098!) which leads me to my question: does anyone have detailed pics of the 1299SL exhaust to compare against the FE? Thinking about options...

Anyone thinking about a dry clutch?

So pumped about this bike!

All I can say is WOW! This bike is amazing. Had its first outing at Laguna Seca Friday. It's crazy fast. Power EVERYWHERE. The very best part is you don't have to worry about the sound issues at Laguna. By the end of the day, I was trying to get flagged by the sound police. Couldn't do it.
The bike is worth every penny.

From the conversations I've had the SL exhaust will obviously fit, but the map isn't optimised for the FE. Also I think the race exhaust/map rides very rough for street riding?

There should be a freeer Akra due soon, but not sure when. I've heard anywhere from Nov to Feb next year?

Anyone else been able to get an extended warranty?

I got the extended on my FE.
 
No later than Feb 2018 but might be sooner. I cannot wait to get my hands on one.
