Help Support Ducati Forum:

I've got lots of good pics of the FE and even a short video of the CEO of Ducati unveiling it to the world. All as a result of me being on Ducati Island at Laguna Seca WSB. I'd be happy to post the pics if someone can tell me how to post pics and videos in the rurrent reality of the website.

Just noticed how big the heat shield is on the exhaust...wonder if this will help with keeping the temps down on the riders' legs?

Kevin, what are you doing for mirrors? Or are you just going without?! :D

Am I the only one who prefers the underbelly exit exhaust? Also, why didn't they use LED headlights for such a machine?

LED are too heavy and no point on the R. I like both exhaust design but if you saw this in person. I think you would like the exhaust a bit better then the
underbelly.

As of right now, I haven't decided what I'm going to do for the mirrors. No LED headlight, its heavy and it's a R, the Panigale R and the 1299 SL don't have the LED headlight either.
Personally I love this new exhaust, I can't wait for them to finally release a race pipe and get rid of the underbelly canister.

I'll be getting my FE this week. only thing I can't decide is if I should run my BST for track or use the red wheels for the track.

What block offs do you have on the bike now?

Had a few track sessions on an FE over the weekend -- just a few miles on the clock, so no really hard acceleration. The handling and suspension were wonderful and very confidence inspiring. Had my knee down without hesitation on the out lap, and that was on stock tires without warmers! A wonderful experience and probably actually worth the money once break in is complete and the power can be used and enjoyed.

I found that the shift lever had very low effort -- is that common, and can it be changed?

I picked up mine late this afternoon. With the short drive home from the dealership, I could surely tell the difference between my 1199R I rode this past long weekend. I hadn't ridden a '15+ Panigale before this. All I can say is wow. It's impressive with the feel and response differences between the bikes. In one word - refined. I'm excited to get more seat time on FE.

That looks great with the black wheels.
What screen you got on there, is it the DP taller version?
