What was the first motorcycle you rode that really felt like it yanked your arms off?

Believe it or not Yamaha RD250 ..... Man that thing felt fast... back in 75 lol

'77 Can-Am 175 "Black Widow", scariest bike I ever rode

2006 Gsxr 1000. That thing opened my eyes to how fast these things are.

Dating myself with these, but what the heck... ;)

On pavement, the original Kawasaki Z1. Had sold the H1's and 2's which were fast, and had spent some time on an ex-works H1R we had, but the sheer grunt of the Z1 was amazing in its day. Too much for the chassis though, and the near-death tank slapper I had on one at about a buck-twenty still makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Lots of scary-handling bikes in those days! Next one that really moved the bar for me was the V-Max; a seamless torrent of torque. Sold a lot of back tires for those...

On the dirt, my '79 440 Maico. A crude, rude, vibrating beast of a bike that would turn your arms to mush in no time! A two-handed clutch, no discernable brakes, and acceleration like I'd never felt in a bike that light. They really sucked unless you piled a lot of money into 'em, but if you did it was THE weapon of the day. Not for the meek!

Your "boyfriend?" :p

My Panigale. First liter bike and now that it is past the break in phase, it's like the turbo in my evo spoolin up after 8000rpm on the Pani. Whoaaa!! HOLD ON TIGHT!
