Yup, someone didn't clean the excess goo off the chain before riding. Often they're very "exuberant" with the chain lube application during assembly, best to wipe all that excess off during PDI before it's ridden.

Yes the oil over the exhaust was excess chain lube, but the top picture is actually the day after the others and its all been cleaned off now. There are two of them here in Dubai, I have one the other is a demo bike from the dealer we took them for a ride to get a few KMs on them.
BTW this was a group ride from Dubai out to a place called Kalbah

Just about to have a 3rd on on the road here in Dubai, should be plated in about a week, after that it will be mid-Feb before we get the next shipment.
We've put a few more Kms on the demo in recent days.
