Had a blast with my new 2021 V2! I was able
to put 650miles on it before I hit the track.

The bike is a true track machine. The front end gives amazing confidence, much better then my previous 2020 monster 1200s. Powerband is on top, and on a short track like cmp, I actually pulled a previous generation cbr 1000, zx10r and a few more! Love the bike and and pulls much harder once you get it into the higher rpm. Had a blast and was my first trackday with the v2. The corsa 2 felt amazing but probably switching to the supercorsas soon. BBA252F9-905B-47EE-B1CE-52C26FE9BDE1.jpeg

Are those the stock tires? If so, how did they grip? I ran Supercorsa SPs when I went to the track and took my stock rubber off, not sure if it would have enough grip on the track. Thanks for posting.

Yes stock tire corsa 2. Was running 26.5psi in rear and 29 psi front cold. No grip issue it at all, traction light barely came on. Awesome tire for track/street. My next set will be the supercorsa because I will be doing more track then street driving.
great vid.

was the guy telling you about your brake light working?
Hahah, it’s actually a sign to tell you to follow to him. Usually instructors find the faster guys on the track and they will see if you are ready for the next group, (was running intermediate group), so he showed how to be faster, as you can tell I wasn’t ready to open throttle all the way at the longer corner, my corner exit speed was also slower, hopefully on the next trackday I get faster and more predictable. Also still working on my Body position, I’m draggin knees but need to slide my butt more off the seat. That my soles came off, and the sticky ductape rubbing off on the heel guard didn’t help me either . Its a blast, and truly recommend anyone to do trackdays.

Very nice. Glad you had a good time.

Your rebound looks to be too slow in the front. Is that a hot tear starting on the rear? Maybe the pressure was too low. Track looked nice, but lots of trees, lol.

I thought so too, but its were the soft compound meets the harder compound and the track had the asphalt redone about 10 months ago.

How did you have your bike's Ride settings configured and how did it feel to you?
I ride in a customized Sport mode. DTS on 2, DWC on 2, Engine Brake on 2 and engine full power. I had Dave Moss help with my suspension. Front feels a little soft so might try cartridge change. Other than that really fun on the track...

Stock tires can handle knee and elbow leans with no problem
