How are you going to tune it for that exhaust?

Waiting for a piggyback controller to come out. She actually runs cooler than normal for whatever reason, maybe it's because I took the engine covers off too, gets more air over them. Gotta upload a video to youtube. The tech who test rode it said it sounds like a D16RR. The bark from downshifts is amazing.

If I may add my 0.02: FM exhausts and Motocorse are somehow linked as far as I know. Maybe through ownership or just by cooperating. Anyway, they can upload preprogrammed maps for FM exhausts for a number of air filter combinations. You send them your ECU or buy another one and tell them the airfilter model you use and they send back the ECU with the upmap loaded. Surely, it might not be as accurate or professional tuning as a custom dynotune, but don't think anyone will complain just riding it. I mean it suits the purpose perfectly. Contact them if they offer the service for the V4.

I just stumbled across this. ECU remap: EUR 350,-, race air filter 100,-, both excluding taxes.

Some feedback I received this morning from Design Corse:

"FM Projects does not include the tuning for the exhausts as the team they produced this for does all the mapping on hand and do not offer it outside the team.

However the Termignoni Upmap tuning for the 4Uscite Exhaust works well with the FM Exhaust its been tested by another member who is racing his V4, however data is limited from his side due to his commitments.

We cannot provide you with the Upmap as you can get it direct from Upmap Termignoni:

http://store.up-map.it/it/3-store#/marca-ducati/modello-panigale_v4

Essentially Any full system upmap even the akrapovic would work well with the FM Exhaust since the air/fuel ratio, Lambda and valve disabling are the key areas that are adjusted on the upmap for open exhausts and full systems."

It's also confirmed that it is a stainless steel system that retains the cat. Hope all of this helps.

Has anybody else purchased this GP Replica exhaust from FM Projects?

Just curious on USD cost and what you went with for an upmap.

I got the GP exhaust (undertail/underbelly exits) and it cost me just under 5000 USD for the exhaust, rearsets (it doesn't work with stock rearsets so I got the same ones from their racebike), and shipping. It was the 3/4 system, reuses the front headers (saves a lot of labor hours on install) and is full titanium. Had to fabricate a license plate mount for it.

I bought the T800 UpMap system and threw the Termi map on there. When I get to a dyno, I will compare the akra and termi maps. It definitely runs much better after mapping.

That doesn't sound too terrible, all things considered. I've seen the one video you had already posted. Would you mind putting up a few pictures and possibly another video? Would love to hear some more of it before I committed.
