I've narrowed my choices down to CNC, Gilles and woodcraft.

Ive always run non folding pegs but am wondering if folding will be better. I do both street and track.

Thanks.

Interested in this thread as well, thanks for asking the question I've had in my mind for the Chicago cold/non-riding season!

Non- folding IMHO

You will know they are always there, no matter what direction your foot is coming from

I have ran non folding foot/toe pegs and folding they all crash the same. One of the things I like about folding toe pegs are they usually are bit longer so little bit easier to grip onto. Stay away from the nurled ones they will eatup a set of boots quick. If your running CnC rear sets get the Woodcraft folding toe pegs they will bolt right up.

how about folding or non toe pegs?

My personal preference is folding everything. This is more from the point of view of
not snapping off or bending the whole rearset/pedal assembly if dropped.
Then again I dont run crash bungs etc on my race bike either, so what do I know :-0

I have these CNC racing in the Argento color on my 1299. https://www.cncracing.com/world/duc...rear-sets-rps-ducati-sbk-panigale-series.html I set them up reverse shifting. On my S1000RR I have Gilles Tooling reverse shift with the upgraded foot pegs. And on my S1000R I have the lightech r series also reverse shifting.

If I had to do it all over again on my S1000RR I would install the Lightech R series with reverse shifting.

I love the CNC racing I have as well as the Lightech R series. You cant go wrong with them. The gilles are good but a few friends and others who had them on their bikes said the same things. After a crash on the track or on the street they dont always hold up. Dont get me wrong they shift nice and look good.

I'm with 990Glenn. I run folders. I used to run fixed but they have a tendency to catch and get your bike cartwheeling vs just sliding.
I took a lesson from the factory bikes running folders to try to stay in the race after a get off.
Those fixed pegs don't always break like advertised.
I don't run frame sliders either for the same reasons.

Folders after a lowside. Just beveled the foot and brake lever pegs.
Ready to get right back into the action.

For the track, folding rearsets crash better, just like the picture above. I've had the same experience, being able to just get back on and ride.
