Fork preload tool

Maybe I’m misunderstanding then…

Im under the impression the 32mm blue anodized nuts atop the forks were for the fork preloads.

Are they not? If I’m incorrect, how do you adjust the preload on the front forks. And where is this mythical 17mm adjuster?

I’ll clarify once more; I have a ‘21 V4SP with the electric forks. Thx.

The electronic Ohlins have the blue caps and they are 32mm. Turning the blue 32mm section is the preload adjuster. The non-electronic Ohlins have a silver cap with a smaller 17mm adjuster.

There is also the FL 956 to make things more confusing but they are manual, and not 32mm.

Thought we had it right considering I have an SP/electronic suspension. Just got the wrench in today too. Thank God that 9$ didn’t go to waste LOL…RD16 you almost gave me a heart attack haha.

Here’s a pic of her in the living room on the rear Pierobon stand and the marr-less wrench. Let’s put this thread to rest thanks again everyone.
