Sign me up crackling, poping, and back firing Im all in for street duty. For track days I would get a used 959 or 959 corse.
I'm waiting until next winter and find a used base V4 with a full system or slip ons. Some dudes will want to move up to a S model, or may want a R1M or 2019 Bmw s1000RR....

Now you made me want V4s again. I absolutely love my current 1299s Akra popping and backfiring in engine braking or in lazy shifting. Especially in the Alp tunnels, it throws 1m long blue flames. Childish and stupid yes, but soooooooooo nice.

There's an upmap your dealer needs to email corporate to order. Corporate will send over electronically to be uploaded into your bike.

Compared to the stock exhaust, how much louder would you say it is? I want to put the akro on but if it is significantly louder than stock I may have issues with the cops. I won't be tracking mine...

I would say significant. But again it's relative. Full akra v4 vs stock v4, the sound volume difference is bigger than full akra 1x99 vs stock 1x99.

how many Miles you have now?
any issue? stalling? heat from exhaust? on street ride/traffik?

About 600 miles. Just finished the first service during the exhaust install. Only had 1 quick ride so can't really comment on the heat difference, but it feels the same (full akra and oem) heat wise. Stalled a few times during break in, but once full exhaust is on and the upmap, and the charcoal can is removed and plugged (per full exhaust install instructions), it hasn't stalled despite a few warm starts yesterday. Quick shifter still acting up occasionally but a restart fixes it.

The Akra system looks amazing!
I Love that too lol I had an 09 R1 that back fired quite a bit during shifts but then i flashed the ECU and it got rid of it completely. That was one of the saddest days riding that i remember
