Going with the Termignoni ?

I want to but I'm nervous about blocking the rear lights.... decisions decisions....

The Akrapovic is really nice... but I always like the under tail exhausts... however the v4 tail is really badass and maybe adding the muffles will take the beauty away [emoji53]

I'm going Termignoni. Just cancelled the donkey dick

Donkey dick! Lol

I'm very confuse... I don't know if the Termignoni is meant to be use in the street or only track... it looks like it's blocking the tail lights

I had the GP7 exhaust on my Desmosedici . I think this new one is similar

This is what I was hoping for from Termi, but I think they missed their mark. I think it comes partially from no longer being in cahootz with Ducati like Akra is now and partially from wanting to crank out an exhaust quickly to take advantage of the V4 buyers anxiously waiting to buy an exhaust.

It just looks messy IMO. I feel like they could have taken their time and produced something like the D16RR system where it reconfigures the tail to look neat, which would look a million times better. But instead they just threw something together and cranked out some carbon fiber panels to hide the mess. That D16RR exhaust system appealed because it was bona-fide MotoGP in style, made the bike look like a GP bike with lights. The V4 termi exhaust makes the V4 look like a wannabe GP bike.

Is what it is . That system is 10 years old it's the closest at the moment to what the GP 7 was . I actually don't mind the new system .

Did you sell the demosedici? How did you like it compare to the V4S? I was looking to buy one before I bought my V4S

To be true i seen several exaust systems, a few by real and a few just on pics or vids, but must say estetically the most i like is the stock one. Not talking about performances or voice.

For my money i would want to be getting some serious horsepower out of a system to warrant having it up that high, "keep it low and go go go"..... go the Akro.

I agree. Every single system out so far seems to have compromises when it comes to appearance. I'll keep mine stock until I see more options later in the year.

If I really had to pick one now, I'd probably go for the Akrapovic full system, simply because of Nitrouz's original post in this thread. That sold me.

I've seen pics of a Speciale in a European showroom with the regular stock exhaust, so I think it ships with the normal exhaust attached and the Akrapovic system which has to be installed yet. At least in Europe, perhaps to comply with regulations. Anyone in the know correct me if I'm mistaken.

I think you are right

Have any USA customers with a Speciale on order discussed the Akra exhaust with the dealer? Will it come installed from the factory? Will the dealer charge extra beyond the normal setup fee to get the exhaust on? It sounds like a fairly lengthy job, but at the price we're paying it seems wrong to get stiffed for another $1000 or so just to get the Akra put on.

My dealer is asking for a separate service charge to install the Akrapovic on the Speciale.

After installing the akra, I had to sign 3 waivers from ducati specifying that I know it's for off road use only, won't sue ducati for any tickets etc, service according to "race schedule", etc etc. One waiver for me, one waiver for the dealer, one waiver for ducati.
