My dealer installed the bumper today too.
It actually forces the lower fairing into the rear brake leaver and causes it to rub against the fairing when used.
Interesting, mine does not.

Would you be so kind to make a pic of this solution, as my dealer still haven't heard anything about a higher grommit this could be a good temporarily solution.
Yea, I'll try and take one tonight
i'm going by the dealer again today so will ask if they have an actual part number for it and post it.
My 999r did the same thing and it was never really resolved. I just take it up as its a race exhaust designed for racing, teams dont care if the body melts. So in the long run neither did I and stopped worring about it. It just burnt enough of the fairing to make a black mark and didnt go any further, and my bodywork was carbon.
Well, as it turns out the dealer did NOT have a specific part number for the oft referred to GROMMET which the DNA rep allegedly referred to as the RIGHT SIDE EXHAUST BUMPER.
So, the DNA rep promised a part number of some sort of O'fficial reference tomorrow - Saturday here.
Will try again to post a part number or whatever DNA is calling it.
Yep I actually just got off the phone with them.
It is: 76411741A
OK - but just so you know - my mech and I both think this part is a couple of mm too long at 11mm.
My mech fashioned one at 9mm whilst waiting for the O'fficial Ducati part to arrive. It worked just fine. DNA wanted pictures of the one the mech fashioned. I'll take some pics as well and will post them.
So, my lower right fairing is scored where the brake lever contacts it but it hasn't burst into flames yet so I guess standby to see what comes next.
On a similar note - the CF piece over the header loop from the rear cylinder is toast. The reflective material I applied has burned through and the CF on the forward left corner is brittle and burned. I pulled it off this weekend and am taking it to the shop sometime this week to see about a warranty replacement. I haven't yet tried to refit the OEM metal cover back on the bike but eventually will muck around with it to see if it will be useable at least until DNA sorts that out too. If you look at the pics I've already posted you can see what and where I'm describing.
