I can't go that far back since I started riding in 2003 but when I had my first bike n got a slip on for my zx6r, I freaked out having to pay $400 for a slipon yoshi. Now I paid $3400 for a full akra. I could have bought a decent track bike for that kinda money lol. Oh the foolish decisions we make as enthusiasts. I'm on the verge of selling about 8 pairs of my jordan's (shoes) to help justify the absurd decision lol.

Lol I used to have over a 150 pairs of retro jordans with a few OG ones as well over 10 years ago when I worked at niketown. Sold most of them a few years later and I've gotten back into it couple years ago but I've only got about 30 pairs now. These 8 pairs just need to go to help support my bigger problem which happens to be Italian.
