Wanted to see if anybody has done any gearing adjustments yet. I actually think that the bike is a little lazy down low until it gets into the upper RPMs. I rode my V4 Speciale The other day and that has -1 front and +1 in the rear and feels way more powerful and turkey then my SF even know that’s the same gearing the SF comes with.

I made the comment to one of Ducati North America's Service Area Managers that my 2020 Pani V4S with stock exhaust feels stronger all around than my 2021 SF V4S with Akra... I dropped the SF off last week for first service and a starting issue. They are hooking it up to the computers to run tests and datalog everything to send back to Bologna...

I agree 100%, Not bashing my Street Fighter but it doesn't pull like my Speciale at all witht e same gear ration. I know the transmission gears is most likely different but I'm less that thrilled with the torque and power of the SF unless you up wards of 9,000 RPMs.

After playing on the gearing commander web site I think I’m going to try 15/45 combo. It’s pretty much like dro one off the front but won’t wrap the chain like a 14 front would. Just not sure if I want to go with the 520 conversion right now while testing or just grab a cheap rear to see how it is.

Just ordered the 520 rear conversion. I went with stock from 15 tooth sprocket and a 45 rear. Hoping this weeks are up in the low to mid range pretty good. It’ll be about two weeks until it comes in. Cant wait to give it a shot

I've been thinking of doing the 520 conversion also. Can't make up my mind on gearing, quick change or not and colors(or not)

Yeah I was on the fence about it for a while as to what way to go. I went with the stock 15 tooth front so it woun't wrap so tight and ordered the AME quick change hub and ordered a 44R & 45R. I think the 45 will be the way to go. it should also save about 4 lbs out of all the changes.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts. I have much the same feeling you do. I wish I would have ridden it before having the Akra and mapping installed to see if the low end was any better.
She sure does scream over 9k though

Yeah I'm in the same boat, I never rode her without the AKR system and up map. It drive me a bit nuts because when you twist the throttle for the first bit its like there's nothing there or your on a 600cc bike. My other V4 will whip your ass off the bike at the same input. lol Brent tuning wants me to bring them my bike and he'll cut me a deal but I don't want her to be a dyno test mule.

Well yesterday was the gar day And I swapped the gearing to the full 520 set up. it dropped just about 2 lbs and I added three to the rear. i went for a short ride and it fells better for sure. I like the change so far and will get out and ride more today to really fell it.

15T front and 45T rear is what you went with? This is the same as stock but +1T on the rear, correct?

And 85mph & 90mph...

72 mph is 6200 rpms 75 was like 6400. If you go on the gear and commander website it’ll tell you everything. It’s a nice change it’s not night and day but it definitely feels more peppy. Until I get these restrictions lifted off the torque maps.

not test mule, consider your tune as genesis for other SFV4 to follow
