Got my 1299 SL

Bike feels light as hell and the power , torque is amazing. Reminds me a lot of my Viper cars the way the motor rumbles and instant power on the tap at the track. I know apple and oranges comparison but it does. This is my first modern Ducati bike. I do have other modern inline 4 liter bikes but collect ride mostly late 80's to 90 era rare sport bikes. Some pics of my SL.

Gorgeous SL!! Which dealer did you pick it up from? My local dealer in Livermore was prepping an SL last week. What a special bike.

I like the Suzuki and Yamaha in the background as well.

Good to meet another local guy with a similar affinity for some of the older stuff as well as the latest and greatest!

Hi Kevin picked up the bike at a dealer in the mid west. yes I have a big love for them rare homologation race bikes. Glad to hear about a good reputable Ducati dealer in Livermore. I heard about the service dept. at Moto Cafe in Sunnyvale not being so good so been looking else where thanks.

I want to get the Akro race exhaust put on my SL is why I'm looking for a good dealer.

SL thread with 10 posts and not a peep from endodoc about his bike being better?!?! Is this the 1299forums?

Im beyond jealous of you and thats a beauty of a bike! Living in warm weather year round with a beast of a bike is not too shabby lol Congrats! GET THE AKRAS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

endo put helium in the tires and is now busy keeping it on the ground. ;)

Hey guys thank's I took the SL down Big Sur HWY 1 coast today it was a awesome ride,and the bike is just sinister. On heat my 2016 Aprilia RSV4 RF LE bike actually gets hotter. The SL isn't too bad seems to get hotter when you are behind slower moving cars. The bike heats up your buttocks , but I just flap my legs open for 5 to 10 seconds and that's it. If anything it heats you up at the right place lol.

Please dont take this the wrong way but F you! I got to drive Big sur 2 years ago and all i could think was how fun it would be on my bike. Pretty cool to see someone actually riding the SL instead of just displaying it.

Is the road opened all the way yet? i heard about a major slide months ago

Ha lol Pan! Yeah got to ride them life is too short to just look at them in the garage. Big Sur road is closed off right after the Ventana Inn resort entrance , but it's still a awesome ride from the Crossroads Shopping center Carmel all the way down .
