Hey everyone,
I just picked up my 899 earlier this year in February. I bought the bike used with 7,500mi, and have put on almost 5,000mi since then. I'm from the SF Bay Area, so most of my added miles have come from "practicing" in our heavy traffic commute.
I added a few small goodies since: DP comfort seat, Termi slip-ons, Oberon and clutch slave. Only thing I'd like to get is an adjustable rearset, and a few more carbon fiber pieces. Most of my money has gone to safety gear--5 jackets now, 2 boots, 2 gloves, and 2 helmets!
I look forward to any other input, and meeting some new members here. I'll be taking the bike this weekend to Thunderhill Raceway for my 1st track event course under the California Superbike School!
