I don't have any cool picks, but any of you can look at google maps of the neverending twisties that lay before me in the Rocky Mountains. It's glorious. Well, a bit more glorious if the damn ice would start melting arelady.

Some nice ones up that way. I've managed to get up there from Ga a few times over the years.

Rt 100 running north/south in VT (and side roads off of it) is a favorite in that part of the country. Was just up there this past Sept.

Lucky enough in 2003. A friend and I rented monsters, and were part of the motogiro d'Italia, a reunion race of classic italian motorcycles. It was a 1000km in five days riding thru the dolomites on roads like in this pic. What an incredible experience.

Incredible!

good for you Zvez.....doesn't get much better than that.

would the roads have been good ones for the Pani though?

I'm somewhat surprised nobody has mentioned Deals Gap.

Back in the 90's you could ride all day and not see another bike.

The posted speed limit was also 55.:D

Yes there are many many roads. Some say there are even better. But, this is my yearly sanctuary.

30 minutes from house, on to this road. West of Sydney, up over the blue mountains, down into wine country, stop at a very interesting old Aussie Pub, that serves its own concoction called Dr Jurds Jungle Juice, then back down the "old Pacific Hwy" stop for coffee at desperates road warriors cafe for chat and coffee it is called the Putty Rd loop, takes all day, and all up about 400ks.

Here is a video I found of a small section of the Putty

Then a further hour west on the other side of the Blue Mountains, is a beautiful historic town of Bathurst, that lives for Motor Sports. It' s circuit is a road that get closed for events, and goes up the mountain and down the other side and is simply frightening. I have been lucky to race there on bikes and nothing can prepare you for this thrill. Oh and it has the longest straight in the world, called Conrod straight, and it is all down hill!

Check it out here
