All the insults really is unnecessary. .

Some people don't like when you point out their own Ignorant comments.

The subjective point becomes valid because no one person knows anothers threshold for heat/pain

This is the part where I call BS

Your fkn human and if you sit behind a panigale running over 200F for an hour I don't care if your fkn superman in 4" of leather, you azz is going to bake.

You cannot claim a threshold for pain is involved when sitting on top of an 210f oven for an hour.

I don't think anyone is disputing the fact that the bike gets insanely hot.

That's it in a nutshell

99% of the time you can keep the bike below 200f and getting to 220f for 10-15 minutes which is typical is not an issue what so ever for most of us.

But you ride this beech for an hour at that temp and then come back, and I promise you will sing a different tune.

Lets put this another way, so EVERYONE can understand.

What is the longest you have rode the bike over 200f ?

10-15 minutes tolerable

20-25 minutes ah so you are a tough guy

30-60 minutes, there is no tough guy about it. Your a god damned survivor and praying you can crank it up to 120 mph to cool you azz off

So I guess my bike is broke.. My bike on highways and back roads stays around 206f in regular stop and go it gets up around 215ish.. Doesnt really bother me. Only one time it did was in downtown philly and it got hot.. But it wasn't unbearable

LOL yes its broke.

Mine has never stayed above 200 for 30 minutes unless the ambient temp is over 100 and im stuck below 45mph

Only had one day like that.

320 miles in one day

100 miles of rain riding in the morning through the redwoods and mountains, then a 100 miles through the valley floor at 100f going through a 35mph section of road around clear lake where the bike stayed way over 200 for about an hour. Then another hundred miles right around 195f

There is a huge difference between 195f and 215f I can ride 195 all day every day.

i get my bike over 200 degrees F here in orlando florida more than i want to. With traffic and the redic heat from the summers here, ridding in traffic, it can be over 200 for over 30-40 mins at times. Now, i am not one to ..... about the heat from this bike, does it get hot, yes, the fan also kicks in at around 224 f... however, i am more impatient and get out of traffic because I cant stand traffic one bit. I tend to try and ride only during the weekends on the streets to just bypass the ...... traffic and actually enjoy this bike, not sit behind a cars exhaust all day.

On the flip side, i sweat if I look outside from the comforts of A/C and it looks hot out. I am not one for enjoying heat thats for sure. And again, this bike doesnt bother me heat wise

Well then she's broke.. But I am not really phased by the heat..

More power equals more heat. You want Ducati to start making bikes with less power? Oh! they do already... Scramblers! Seriously though, the first 916 with the under seat exhaust was only 100 bhp and that was hot as hell. I don't think we have much to complain about really. And, if you do, you have a choice.

Do you know what the definition of subjective is at its core it means that it's unrepeatable different variables cause different answers the only thing that's consistent is the bike produces heat whatever point that might be I break down real easy for you if there's a stove on and I tell you to put your hand on it how long can you hold your hand on it 2 seconds 5 seconds longer or even not even put your hand on the stove guaranteed answers different for every single person hell it maybe differnt evertime they do it too...that's subjective

See this is the part that is utter horse crap.

When this bike gets over 200f and your on it for any length of time, your factually in error here.

You just have never rode your bike over 200f for an hour so you don't know what your talking about.

Actually I have, but I doubt you're interested. In my experience all superbikes will get hot under certain conditions. The Panigale is maybe more prone than others, I'm not sure why the concept that some people will find it a problem whilst others aren't bothered is so difficult to understand.

No argument there.

People who have not been "bothered" have not rode long or hard enough on hot days on slow roads with lots of traffic, You will never reach this heat level on any track.

I have had only one day in 3 years of riding that was unbearable enough for me to shop new thicker radiators so that event never gets repeated.

Nothing subjective about that. And it was for the most part engine heat.

And I'm glad you never hit this point . I used to say the same thing as you until this one day. Don't think your right because one day you will learn this

love how you know my riding habits...

that being said hate it when people point out their ignorance? well kettle meet pot.

everything subjective about "claiming its too hot..."

i'll break out a dictionary for you if you'd like.

:
Do you know what the definition of subjective is

1.based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions: Contrasted with objective.

Ill ask my students in my philosophy class if I can pervert the English language bad enough to get the same meaning as you are. :D

Dude I'm sorry I caught you talking out of your butt. You ride track mostly and you will never see those conditions riding a pani slow or long enough to get to the point I'm talking about. No Fkn parades does 35mph on a day over 100f for an hour.

When your fan is going on and off for an hour plus under 40mph, come back and we will talk.

Until then you talking out you azz, showing everyone how little you know.

If I wanted track lessons I would keep my mouth shut and listen to you with a 100% focus, this is not the track you don't get to talk down to anyone you don't know.

haha.. keep going bro.. track is only half of my focus...

subjective is exactly what you posted an OPINION... based on a feeling that only quantifiable by ones feelings of "too hot"

11 pages long?.....Really? bottom line yes it can get a little toasty . Stop being a ..... and ride it . END Thread
