Just added a Suomy SR Dovi to the collection:
I'm a big fan of both Dovi and Suomy, so it was a no-brainer.
It joins a Shoei X12 Elias, RF1000 Szoke, RF1000 Caster, AGV K4 (matte black), Suomy Spec 1R Flowers (anthracite), and a Scorpion (forgot which model).
Nice lids guys!

i had the suomy wall street spec 1 r. how does this fit in comparison. i loved suomy but cant find a graphic i like anymore

They feel similar in terms of head shape.
Both my Spec1R and SR are medium sized, but the Spec1R was much tighter out of the box (which I like); however, once broken in, the Spec1R was perfect. Seems like the SR is more in line with the other brands now, because it slips on similar to my Shoeis and AGV. The SR also isn't as close to the face as the Spec1R, in terms of the mouth area.
Overall, the SR doesn't have that race "tightness" of the Spec1R, but is still a very good helmet at speed. It's also super comfy out of the box. I like it, but not as much as the Spec1R.

thanks for this. i am a medium in all my helmets suomy i was a large. i put the large on in the sr in a store and it was way too big. the med was way to small. the spec1r fit like it was custom made for me i loved but its gone forever.

There's a good chance you could change out the internal padding to get the SR to fit snug.
A friend of mine did that with his Spec1R. There was a small size on sale, but he could only fit in the medium. The small and medium actually share the same shell, but the internal padding is just thicker on the small. So, the store let him swap the pads, and voila - a Spec1R marked as a small, but fit like a medium.
If the medium SR went on but the pads were too robust, ask the store if you can fit lower profile ones.

I just can't pay $4000USD + for a helmet.... I can justify A LOT, but not something like this! Not when, I change out my helmets so fast!
Very cool! AGV does not fit my head very well.

Is the color of this helmet the same as the Ducati Racing red (like their race bikes) or more like the traditional red of the 1199 bikes?

^tbh it's more of an orange-red. The pics online make it look red, but it's not.

Suomy Dovi is really cool in person, StarLine design graphic with gold flake accents around the horse. Color is assymetric between sides. The red is mostly Fluorescent red with some darker patches in some areas. Comes with clear antifog/antiscratch shield as stock, additional for race shields. I love the SR Sport, fits close to Arai medium as I have the CorsairV as well. My Dovi is sitting in the box for a later day. My daily helmet is another Suomy SR Sport with a Ultratech visor, I love it too. I love the weight and the aerodynamics and the fit of the Suomy SR. Shaped like a real modern motorsport helmet with feature refinements and more fully integrated aero bits over the Spec 1R. I believe it has higher SHARP rating as well.

^ Yes! I forgot to mention that, and thanks for bringing it up: the SR is light and very well balanced. I tend to tilt my chin down and look through the top of the visor and it cuts through the wind nicely with no nasty chin lift.
Overall, I like it a lot, even more than my X12.
