IMHO, bigger fail is the "vent plugs" rather than open/close controls and the integrated burka to cover the five head. I passed on it and got an Arai instead, but I know the Corsa at least fixes the vent issue.
 
So, I have a GP-Tech does this mean I need a new helmet to have the latest & greatest???

So my brain matter isn't splattered all over pavement or is the current set up still ok...
 
Does it come with the little rubber grommets to cover the air vents? I wonder how this helmet is going to do if you get caught in the rain. Head soaked???

Yeah, but I need to open and close mine sometimes a few times in one ride (fogging, caught in rain, etc.) and with this one you can't do that or you will drop them on the highway. IMHO, it's intended for track use more than street use. Not a bad thing, but one of the reasons I dropped it from my list.

I'm thinking of this as my "it's ....... hot outside" poser helmet. I have different helmets for different tasks....like my flat black Arai with all black suit for hooligan rides :D .

This is a great helmet for that since, IMHO, it looks incredible. I really hate the burka thing though. There's a pic somewhere of some dude on here showing it, but basically the eyeport is cut back really high to improve the field of view so it looks like you have a giant forehead from the front. AGV "fixed" this by installing a black spandex hammock or some such nonsense that stretches over your forehead when you put the helmet on. IMHO, fail.

my bell star carbon black beauty is my its hot outside helmet. thing moves so much air i have to turn off the voice control on my sena or the music never plays.

Take one with the burka tucked up behind your head or something so we can see what it would look like removed.
 
i think burka is the wrong term . a burka covers the face AND the body. i think hijab would be the correct term. a hijab is a head scarf

It's a sweat band for crying out loud and rather ingenious I think. When I put the helmet on you can't even see it. It rides right along my hair line. So it's absorbs sweat from running down into your eyes and also keeps my hair from getting between my forehead and the helmet. Some of you that are hair challenged may not see any value but I'm sure your bald heads sweat plenty. If you ride hard enough that is :p
