I am not good at spotting the different models etc of helmets riders where at the TT ...but I did see a lot of Shoei's on the coverage I watched on Velocity....
stunningly light. . . physical appearance appears to be ever so slightly smaller than the corsair V. . . Dealer has to do some wrangling with distribution to get it. . . less than a handful (like single digits of the Ducati version delivered). Maybe that will loosen up. List price is actually 4299 now instead of the original 3999 (or maybe that was the arai non Ducati version, not sure on that one).
Yes I have the nickel calipers on front and rear. Rear is strictly visual as I rarely if ever use the rear brake. . . HPK calipers as well .. . bigger improvement is switching to Brembo z04 (or equivalent Ferodo) pads. . The z04 pads are excellent - like the OEM ones on steroids. . .

That was what i was joking about with others. .. It's like if you go down - hands around the head to protect the helmet. . . . You might be looking at the helmet while everyone else is looking at the bike. . .
Or the other joke was that when you're down and the paramedics are on you, you're screaming "don't cut the straps, don't cut the straps"
Yes, I noticed that also. You could tell from the clear spoiler which is only on the Pista GP.

uh - thats not me. Thats the dealership guy when I was picking my helmet up and we took some pictures. nice try though.

seriously cali is right ebay? your paying 25-30 k for a bike and 4k for a helmet your going to save 100 bucks from ebay lol. id get it from the dealer and if one of the 10 blow jobs that come with it is missing i would return it lol. god forbid something went wrong with it you going to hunt down the ebay seller. go right to your stealership

Yes eBay - this "pay 20-30 for a bike, and why try to save money" gets addressed here frequently. I and others that own Panis have bought several items on eBay - its the same helmet no matter where you buy it.
i am all for saving money thats not my point. i buy things on ebay too. but a 4000 helmet i want to know i can walk into my stealership and place it on the counter and say this is wrong. not hey mr ebayer the cheek pad was damaged in shipping can you send me a new one lol. 25k for the bike 4k for the helmet thats 29k so you dont want the piece of mind instead you want to pay 28900 come on get real. im sure the stealership will hook you up if you get everything there. you know the 15 % off if you buy when you pick up your bike. lol
