How is fogging? I wonder how rain sealing is? I saw Martin having to tape his shield in the rain session at Qatar

No idea about rain sealing and not something that’s of any concern for my use. I would be surprised if fogging is an issue in normal use as the ventilation through it is significant and very noticeable, but I’ll know for sure after I have used it more.

It’s my favourite helmet so far, having tried Arai (RX7 or something like that), Shoei X-Spirit (one before the new one) and AGV Pista GP RR.

HJC RPH1N

No personal complaints other than I get a lot of face shield bleed even with all the vents closed. In dry desert air my eyeballs dehydrate so quick it’s hard to keep them lubricated with 3-4 different products I bring to the track.

Never been down in it, never bonked the noggin’, just intersting to hear some pro’s that wore them in the past bash the .... out of them.

Good to know!

Have been running the Shark helmet at track for a bit the red one, love it, decided to try the Shark Aeron GP (white one)…the Aeron has those flappy bits in the spoiler that supposedly making it more stable around corners. Honestly I don’t feel much difference accept that the flappy bits make a slightly annoying and distracting noise when they click open and closed in the corners lol

The regular Shark helmet if anything feels more stable, BUT it has a much more robust under chin and around the neck collar so I think less wind is getting under the helmet. Conversely the Aeron GP is more open on the under side but you can also breath better in it.

I have a black carbon one as well...but I scored this yesterday....my local shop (pit-lane moto) was able to get them but I believe they are all sold out now. Hate that Jorge crashed so hard yesterday.

I don't know much about Ruroc but my curiosity got the best of me. I ordered their new Atlas 4.0 Carbon...and left them an honest review. The carbon looks nice but is more muted than what is depicted on the website. I opted for the Shockwave Bluetooth sound system and the visor.
I made sure to measure twice (just to be sure) so I ordered the right size. The fit is nice and snug but a little difficult to actually get on. The visor comes with Pinlock system which worked very well on my Shoei. The chin strap does not have a snap to secure the bitter end. That would have been a nice touch. I polished and ceramic coated the helmet and visor.
I have independently set up a mic system to connect to the GoPro. I haven't tested it yet. Heck, I've only been able to put about 30 miles on my new V4S thanks to weather. But when I get home from my business trip (In April) I'll give feedback on the helmet and all the electronics in it.
